    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Good fit, not too tight not too loose.
    Connectors were clean, not heavily oxidized
    Packaged in bubble wrap
    Seams are nicely flushed no odd jagged edges(good quality)

    Cons: None, plug and play, really hassle free. with this kind of product it either works or doesnt. mine works

    Other: Cheap as hell no worries now using standard firewire products with my macbook pro

    Pros: - does what it says, very useful adapter to have around - good build quality, good packaging - fits snugly

    Cons: - quite bulky, although I guess it would be hard to make it smaller ! - not that cheap for an adapter. but firewire equipment is not cheap to start with ;-)

    Other: does what it says, price still OK, I'd recommend it to anybody
