Pros: 1. If you put the "OUT" sensor close to the body of this thermometer and wait for a while you will see that the IN and OUT screens show the same themperature. This is oh such a rare thing to see with these cheap little gadgets. I've seen models whose IN and OUT readings would be as much as 1C (around 1.8F)different. 2. To check the accuracy, I used my body. The armpit temperature is pretty much the same if you sit in a chair and do some regular work, so I simply put the OUT sensor and a usual mercury-in-glass thermometer in my armpit and waited. The mercury thermometer showed 36.7C (98.06F), and the OUT sensor showed 36.9C (98.42). Not ideal, but still looks good enough to me. 3. A long and beefy wire of the OUT sensor is something I really like.
Cons: 1. Suspiciously cheap. I was looking at this thing for a while not buying it because I was pretty sure it a piece of crap like those I bought before. It took me a while to take another try and I won. 2. It's a weather thermometer. The OUT sensor is sealed in a massive metal capsule and it doesn't show changes too quick. It took me aroud 10 minutes to get my 36.9 when I was measuring my temperature with it.
Other: I see a lot of similar devices around available locally, but it's hard to tell which of them really works. This one does.

Pros: I found another use to monitor the fridge temperature in my RV. The outdoor probe goes in the fridge and the indoor reading works as usual. You even have the record of maximum and minimum temperatures recorded to know if your food was ever at risk. Marvelous!
Cons: The slight difference in indoor/outdoor temperature reading when the probe is close to the unit, may well relate to their different total reading ranges. Once time is allowed for the units to settle, they do well
Other: Good price, Get one!

Pros: Good thermometer for normal use.
Cons: Text says that: - Check the maximum or minimum temperature and the humidity by pressing the Max - Min switch There no that kind of feature which will indicate humidity.
Other: Cheap price but it won`t measure humidity.

Pros: This thermometer works pretty well. Putting the Outdoor wire next to the meter shows around ~0.02F difference. Pretty accurate.
Cons: None
Other: As long as it works its good.

Pros: I purchased three of these, and the simple test of putting them in a box and letting them sit there for an hour worked! All the readings for the indoor sensor and out door probs (that were also in the box) all showed withing a range of 0.5 degrees. Six sensors all being within 0.5 degrees is an excellent result!
Cons: Its a little cheapishly made, but the components inside are what count, and they do their job.
Other: Great accuracy for the price. Im using it to find hotspots inside my computer case, works wonders with the prob.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: i can put it anywhere and the probe allows anything (in the usable spectrum) to be measured if you ask me, the probe is the best thing about this litle gadget.
Cons: none
Other: i bought three and they all work as advertised. these also make great gifts because in the US something like this could run $50 or more. MUST HAVE

Pros: Cheap Seems accurate
Cons: No hygrometer as advertised Takes a loooonnnng time for probe to equilibrate to right temp
Other: Accurate and good value
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It works. Working now for longer than probe thermo I got at same time. I guess that is something ;)
Cons: Way off target as far as accuracy. In vs Out is off by 0.5-1 degC.
However the real issue is its out of whack by more than 1 DegC overall.
This is compared to 3 other digi thermos that all read within a few decimals of each other.
Other: Would be 1/2 decent if it was ballpark accurate. Unfortunately it is too inaccurate to be of much use at all unless you have an accurate reference to account for its variance.
I noticed another user grabbed 3 of these & they all read within a few points of each other. I can only assume from this they are all calibrated to an innacurate baseline.

Pros: Works fine.
Uses standard AAA batteries.
Has a space in the rear for a spare battery.
Great value for money.
Cons: Takes a while to adjust to large temperature changes.
Seems light and quite cheaply made. I've used it for 6 months and it's still fine, but it probably wouldn't be a good idea to drop it ;)
Other: Ideal for any application where you need to monitor two temperatures simultaneously, e.g. fridge/freezer, PC case/ambient temperature etc.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It works fine. It tells you the minimum and the maximum temperatures since reset, and it is quite cheap.
Cons: No hygrometer as said in the description. Otherwise, I have not found any so far.
Other: I was happily surprise. I gave this away to my father, but I will buy another model for myself.
