Infrared Body Temperature Thermometer

Pros: If you don't feel like sticking the probe into your ear you can simply attach it to your forehead! It works! When you're not using it, it shows the room temperature and time. It looks nice and work great. I've got a couple of electronic thermometers, but they really take time to take measurement, and this one does it in just one second! Magic!

Pros: This thermometer measures the in-ear temperature of a person in 1 second, making it perfect for babies as you don't want to be waiting ages for a temperature reading, especially if they are sick. It remembers the last 10 temperatures so you can keep a track of them. It turns off after 1 minute automatically, saving battery.

It uses 2 AAA batteries (included) which are common so you'll always be able to find replacements easily.

Cons: The thermometer DOES NOT provide ambient temperature reading, unlike the specifications. This really applies to a different product on DealExtreme, not this product.

Other: Perhaps consider sku.11324. This thermometer took 3 weeks to ship and didn't have all the features promised.

Pros: Easy to use, no need for a manual. Have a play and you will get the hang of it in no time.

Pros: Very easy to use. Great if you have kids. No more trying to get them to keep a thermometer in their mouths. Very quick as well.
Small enough to carry around as well.

Cons: Dont forget to take the cap off before trying to use in ear. heh heh took the wife 10 mins to work out why it wouldnt work.

Other: Bottom line is try and get a similar product for that price anywhere.

Other: Nice to have at this price

Pros: The device works quite well. it is easy to use. Just poke in to the ear, wait a second or two, push the button and one second later, you can take it out and read the temperature.

Cons: The temp seems to vary a little. It works well on the kids but not on me. When I use it, it always show L (less than 34 C). But is quite reliable on the kids.

Other: Whenever this dies, I will get a new one, if still available.

Pros: It takes only a second to measure the temperature in the ear.
The accuracy of reading is good.

Cons: Should be placed a disposable protector on the temperature sensor before each reading. The thermometer comes with a box of these protectors, but I not know where to find them when they run out.

Other: The order took a long time coming to my house.

Pros: Easy and quick temperature measures. Good for kids as they are impatient. Comes with useful replacement caps (like condoms). Safer!

Cons: Only ear measurements. It does not measures ambient temperature. It does not measures forehead temperature. Not so accurate, I use to make 3 samples to be sure.

Other: For really accurate measures I would recommend a common mercury thermometer. But for home use this is enough.

Pros: Really good stuff! It's very useful, I have a small children at home and it's really good. Fast and accurate! If you measure 10 times, the difference over the measurements are very small (less than 0.2C)

Cons: The measured temperature is a little bit different if compared with a normal thermometer, but when you get used to it, it's just a matter of interpretation.

Other: Not 100% accurate, but value every cent! If you have a small children at home, you know what I'm talking about. Measure temps in just one second! (If you what a really precise measurement, buy a U$50 unit, but if you just want know if your kid need some medicine, this is the one!)

Pros: It measures very quickly.
Has a beeper to indicate the end of measurement - so it's convenient to use on yourself.
Very nice packaged - there is special fabric case for storage.
There are special disposable caps for hygienic purposes in this set.

Cons: Not that accurate as I expected. It seems the result could deviate depending on the ear size (+-0.3 degree).

Other: Nice thing, but cannot fully replace traditional thermometer.
