Pros: The item arrived after 3 weeks. At the price, I'd be happy to give them another week. Usage is as per instruction. The remote has to be within the IR range. From the front, it's very useful for group shot, and also works very well from the side of the IR receiver on the camera, which is great for long exposure and when you're using the tripod. Build quality is excellent and the button is very responsive. Used with Canon 500D. Only the S and 2S button works with DSLR.
Cons: Too cheap. :))
Other: Recommended.

Pros: That's just a great product, at a 1/10 of the price of the original product, as good as the same working!
It's easy to use
It's solid
It's a great help!
Cons: The Distance is a bit more limited <5m
The original Products offers a range of 10m, but at some days the distance of this remote, is better^^
Don't know why
Other: I would prefer it to the original Product, because the technic is so simple that paying 25 to 30 $ for the Canon Remote is just crap!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The Remote is really very small, There are not too much buttons, and the functions of the buttons are well declared. The color fits too the cameras color and it looks kind of expensive, not like a cheapish 3$ remote!
Cons: The Distance between Camera and remote must be less than 3 m It doesn't really work in complete Dark room (currently shooting some Lowkey Portraits) You can't use all buttons with a camera. The Upper Cameras are for the Rebel Xti and kind of models, and the lower 3 buttons can only be used with Canon Bridge Cameras!
Other: It's perfect if you don't expect too much from it! Maybe i'm going to change the IR Emitter =/
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's easy to use, has a decent distance and offers an instant shot or a short delay time. (S, 2S button)
Cons: Only the upper two buttons seem to be working for my camera, as I read. It doesn't seem to work that well if you stand behind your camera. The Manual calls the Rebel XTi a EOS 450D allthough it actually is a 400D, but its not really a con.
Other: Does what it needs to do very well and comes with an incredibly low price. Definitely a must-have for every (hobby) photographer.

Pros: After you set your camera it real works! The low price is surely a pro! It comes with battery and instructions, so it really looks nice when you get it! And the size really is good because you can carry it around with you without any problems.
Cons: Some of the buttons are of no use. After reading some other reviews was allready expecting it.
Other: It's a good buy if you want some self portraints or are into pictures where you don't want to move a milimeter after setting your camera in the right position! And it makes me look cool!

Pros: -It does work
-It's very very very cheap
-Battery will last quite a long time
-Has 2 options (for my camera):
Direct shot
2 Second timer
Cons: -The lower 3 buttons do not work for my Canon 400D/Digital Rebel Xti
-You have to be really close or in front of the camera for the sensor to activate it
-Doesn't always take a photo on the first press of the button
-I have to hold my hand on the side of the camera or semi- infront of it to make a photo
Other: You won't get anything like that for any cheaper, it works great and let's get more out of your camera.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Just have to pull the plastic sheet covering the battery out and it works. I use mine for my Canon 550D. Activate the remote sensor on the camera and start shooting. Works almost the same way as the normal trigger: focuses when pressed in AF-mode and shoots when focused or after 2s depending on what button has been pushed.
Works with a vast number of cameras.
Cons: None
Other: Cheap remote that does what it's supposed to do.

Pros: This IR remote shutter is easy to use and it is cheap (price wise)! Nice and smaller and it gives you the instant shutter button and the two second delay shutter button too. It is small and thin so it is easy to hide if you’re taking a self portrait. It works with the Canon Rebel XT.
Cons: Not every camera have motorized zoom on the lens so the W and T buttons on the remote is kind of useless. Maybe even get rid of those buttons for some cost savings.
Other: Well worth it. Great for self portrait, group photos, and macro photography. It’s cheap and it gets the job done.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great distance: about 15 meters (indoors).
Very small: fits my cameras pocket.
Works great: no lags, fast.
2 options / buttons: single shot or 2 seconds shot.
Great for long exposures shots with a tripod.
Great for self-portraits.
Comes with the battery - no need to buy one.
Cons: Can not use if you are behind the camera - it is probably the biggest (or only) con.
You can only use it from the side or infront of the camera.
Other: Buy it now and use wisely!

Pros: - Price, as compared with brand remotes.
- Battery included (CR2025).
- Has 2 buttons for immediate and 2-sec delay shots. And w/t buttons.
- Has manual how to use it;)
Cons: - I don't see anything unacceptable for this price. But wait... covering defensive layer peel off a little.
Other: I'm using this remote with my Canon 600D and 55-250mm IS lens. Works perfect, except for W/T buttons buttons but this is because my lens is not motorized. Great for self-shots and shots with tripod when using long expositions.
Must have for everyone ;)
