Pros: This is a great little addition to anyones camera kit. Get yourself in the picture without handing your expensive SLR to a stranger. Also handy for bulb mode; you can take a picture and not have to touch the camera, which may induce camera shake. Works at over 10m!
Cons: None that I can see.
Other: Get one of these if your camera has no wired remote (only infrared). Its tiny so wont take up much room in your camera bag. Hell buy a wired timer remote and hack it inline with this one (a little bit of soldering) and you have a fancy pants intervalometer at a cheap price!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The remote works well with the Pentax K-7 and allows the user to take photos remotely. This can be done directly when the button is being pushed or after a countdown. It is so small that it takes virtually no space in the camera bag.
Cons: The range of the remote is not that great but it is enough for indoors use. I suspect this is a problem with IR remotes in general however and not only for this particular product.
Other: Buy it for the occasions where you need to take group photos with you in them and you don't feel like running in front of the camera. It is a bargain.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small and lightweight. You will never decide to take it off from your camera bag because it taking absolutely no space in the bag.
Works quite well allowing you to make portraits of yourself without hurrying with timer operations.
Workable range is about 5 meters (like for any IR commander).
Price is good enough (OEM remote controller is much more expensive).
Cons: no so far
Other: Buy it and you will not be dissapointed. Good device.

Pros: -It really works! :) -It's very light weight and tiny, but still good quality -Works with Pentax k-x -Has a plastic strip behind the battery, so the battery can't self-discharge during shipping
Cons: Range is ~7m, but i think it's the normal infrared range, so this isn't a big con.
Other: I think you cant get better price with this quality. My friend bought sku 27842, but it didn't work with all of the cameras modes, but this one works.

Pros: A useful gadget which a perfect make thing for which he designed - the remote trigger for Pentax camera.
Instruction, of course, absent, but why should she? One press on the button gives one shot. :)
Cons: Not found. However, I have not tested it on long distances (2 meters) and in bright sunlight, and this is potentially problematic conditions for its use.
Other: Wrapped in small plastic bag, placed in a small cardboard box.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Controls your Pentax camera remotely ! You can now take long-exposure pictures without having to touch (and risk to move) your camera ! Be on the picture even if you don't want to be dependent of the timer... Or just any other reason you would need to take pictures/films without being actually behind your camera. - Cheap - Works well - Really light and compact - Nice quality build, especially for the price
Cons: None
Other: A must-have, even if you think you don't need it now, put it in a pocket of your camera bag, and one day you'll be glad to have it, trust me ;)
