InfraRed IR USB Presentor

Pros: - Works really great! - Does not require any driver under Windows or Linux. - Good reception range. - Two sets of batteries (3x AG13) included. - Must have during presentations.
- Very cheap.

Cons: - Cannot find any.

Other: If you need it then buy - worth every penny!

Pros: Stong build. Good shape to carry on your pocket during a presentation or to leave on a table, it has a "thing2 and wont roll dpown to the ground. It really works great. The range i could test was over 12 meters.

Cons: The cable of the receptor is to long and does not have any kind of packing for the cable

Other: Works perfectly well, very good for the money and you wont be disapointed with this product. Great Value for money.

Pros: Worked right out of the box on my ASUS EEE 901 with Windows XP.
Feels solid and heavy (in a positive sense). Pen is stable in the hand.
Laser point is more than focused enough for the distance normally used during presentations. Point is about 2 cm in diameter at a 5 meter distance. At 2 meters it seems around 0.5 cm in diameter.

Cons: - Slightly long cable for usb detector. +
- Pen needs to be slightly pointed towards detector to work.
- Buttons are a little bit loose.

Other: If you present a lot for example in powerpoint..then buy it.

Pros: Best thing with this device is that it user IR for sending signals. Most of other presenter send signals over RF (2.4 GHz). Problem is that meny other devices like Cordless phones, WiFi, etc. user this frequncy for their data, and sometimes other RF presenter would not respons, or even worse, something else change slide show.
With IR when you point to IR receiver and push button you get response.
This presenter had very nice laser pointer, that can rich in great distances.
USB IR receiver had LED indicator that flash when receiving data form presenter.

Cons: Device had no very well desing and build quality.
After second opening for battery replacement pocket holder clamp breaked.
I tink that device have samo foult because when you put brand new batteries in it, and not use it for 3-4 hours, and try to use, you find out that batteries are completely empty.
There is no protection for acidently pushing button (when device is in bag for example).

Other: Could be better !

Pros: - It works in Windows Vista, no drivers are needed;
- You can use the laser pointer and the page up/down buttons in powerpoint, acrobat reader or any software used to make presentations;
- good range, you do need to necessarily point the device to usb receiver;
- compact receiver.

Cons: - Sometimes it fails, just press the button again;
- Not so cheap.

Other: - Good purchase if you need a presenter always on your side.

Pros: Contains the essential functions for presenting; Forward/Backward and the Laser.
Laser is quite strong and offers great assistance.
The device is quite heavy, which makes it easy to handle and gives a solid feel on build-quality.
Easy to use and install.
Comes with everything needed.

Cons: Lacks a Led-flashlight.
Lacks a real pen.
Requires line-of-sight with the IR-sensor.

Other: You won't find anything at this price level that could compete with this product. It's a great tool to have when you're presenting now and then. Go for a RF-model when you present a lot, but be prepared to pull your wallet on that one.

Pros: just plug-n-use, very practical, powerful laser, easy to use.

Cons: looks a little cheap, but who cares as it will be on you hand. the wireless receiver could be just a USB point.

Other: always wanted to get one, but was scared away by the price at departmental shop. but DX made it possible. one of the best product to own as it will help most business and education institutes.

Pros: This is an excellent product for the price. I am currently an academic lecturer and find this product an fantastic addition to my teaching . I use it every week, using it on a smart board when presenting students their lessons. It works well close up and at a distance from the sensor (as long as it is in line of sight of the sensor), turning pages back and forward quickly and smoothly and the infra-red light is ideal when trying to highlight specific information on a slide. The size of the pointer is ideal and the buttens are nicely separated making the product comfortable to hold in your hand.

Cons: No cons to using this product.

Other: An excellent product, well worth the money an ideal addition to any office/teaching accessories.

- Feels expensive
- Looks expensive
- Good reception quality
- Bright laser
- Batteries + replacement batteries INCLUDED

Cons: I couldn't find anything. This thing works just as advertised and looks great.

Other: Buy this if you are going to hold a presentation. It makes you look more professional. And even if you don't have something like this planned, it's always great to have such a thing at home.

Pros: I use it since a week it was just in time for 2 presentations! I prevously used a wireless mouse, but this looks more professional! The presenter feels and looks like a expensive pencil, with metal finishing and buttons! Nice weight, feels somewhat heavier then a normal pencil! The buttons are good positoned, you will always find them without watching! You even get 3 extra's batteries!

Cons: You will have to have the reciever in sight, not always possible, but the wire is quite long!

Other: Just buy and try!
