IP Wireless WIFI/LAN 300K CMOS Waterproof Camera with 40-LED IR Night Vision

Pros: nice and seems solid case
night vision leds are really usefull
extra protecting case
good camera quality if using for home security

Cons: ac adaptor literally exploded at the second day of use
you cannot unplug rj45 if you only use wifi
los wifi signal too much often (but it back in few seconds)
software indluded is very poor
hard to find firmware updates

Other: its a good camera for home-use. i installed it at the roof, pointing to the fence and the view is ver good, even at night... so i would recommend this item. you have to get a new camera administration software if you want to access remotely... but it´s ok

Pros: - Very good build quality as for me. (Except broken pixels I have..)
- You can adjust image quality (focus) by regulating inner lens (you can unscrew camera's front head without bolts)
- IR lights power is very good
- Camera's sensor is very good for indoor use (but big issue for outdoor - see cons)
- You can find some tools and firmware updates at the MayGion's site. (their site sometimes down)
- You can use /videostream.cgi for video streaming, or just MJPEG by requesting /snap.jpg continuously.
Please note, you should add "?usr=admin&pwd=admin" (v3.1 firmware) to the each query (without "). Of course if admin:admin is your login:password.
Please note, for firmware v3.0 use "?usEr=admin&pwd=admin"... Yes, just letter "E" is the difference.

Cons: Has several issues which are difficult to debug:
1. WiFi connection is not working without Ethernet plugged in, or works just 5 minutes at all
Why: It's because you're using WPA2 security level.
How to FIX: change router's security level to WPA and encryption to TKIP.
2. Web UI menu item "Wireless connection" breaks with error "Failed to fetch data"
Why: camera's found some routers nearby with SSID (name) which contains non-Latin symbols. F.e. russian cyrilic ones
How to FIX: just use Chrome browser for this menu item (or you can fix html file if you're developer)
3. Always use "Outdoor" mode. 50 or 60 Hz are not reliable values for this camera's sensor (just indoor with small environmental light).
HARDEST ISSUE :
4. Even if you use "Outdoor" mode, camera's CPU/RAM hangs up, and image will not be transferred to your server or it will be broken - ONLY IF the Sun is shining brightly and environmental NATURAL light is too high.
Why: seems CPU/RAM hardware is too weak for such unoptimized algorithm (in 3.0-3.1 firmware). Camera's sensor is too sensitive, so it has good possibilities to "see" at night and bad at daylight
How to FIX: you can buy ND (neutral density) Filter like for photo cameras, than cut circles from it ant insert to the cameras "eye"... (you can unscrew camera's front head without bolts).
I mean, small circle just for camera's objective to shade it.. Don't cover IR emitters with it!
Of course you can do it just from some plastic packages from some goods... (but you'll have slightly worst image quality)
Please note, it's not necessary to use very shaded glass or plastic! Just little shaded...
- My camera got ~5 broken pixels (1 blue and 3 white) in 3 days of using it indoor. Maybe it was shipped already with this issue, but it hard to find out (seen during the daylight + specific gray background).
- Bad support from this manufacturer (thy answered just once at all)
...So could be cheaper than analogs because of such bugs...

Other: I'm developing surveillance system for friend's store. So it's not expensive good choice, after spent my 10 nights on debugging/research/fixes...
I'm very advise you to upgrade firmware to the latest one. But please, read upgrading manual carefully! It's easy, just uploading some files through FTP to the camera...

Pros: THis camera has an easy to use menu altough I did not find it easy at 1st. Connection to other cameras is easy and very good. No outage now for more then 2 months, during that time it was -20 deg.Cel. (-4 F)

Cons: Powersupply cable is to short. Also the cable connected to the camera is to short and the LAN connector is very big, when putting it through the wall you need to drill a large (3cm) hole. Powersupply should have EU connector. Color could be a bit better.

Other: This is an IP Camera I can absolutly recomend. I do not use the mail or FTP option, so no comment on that.

Cons: Firmware can be better. Some functions didn't work. Hard to find firmware updates. The IR leds emmits red ligth.

Other: It is a good camera for home-use. You can use it outdoor without any problem.

Pros: Español: la camara tiene una buena calidad de video en el dia como en la noche, el inalambrico funciona a la perfeccion. - English: The camera has a good video quality in day and night, the wireless works perfectly.

Cons: Español: Al inicio no funcionaba a la perfeccion, pero una vez arreglando la configuracion, funciono de maravilla. - English: At first it did not work perfectly, but once fixing settings, worked great.

Other: Español: estoy satisfecho con la compra, me parece bien el precio. - English: I am satisfied with the purchase, the price seem right

Pros: Camera works as expected. Nice fps and light leds are very usefull, as it has been said, you can notice they are on (they get red). Want to make it work with zoneminder but still cannot, I can get snapshot.cgi?params... and videostream.cgi?...params working but zoneminder does not get the image.

Cons: Not many, this is a foscam clone camera, if you want it just for your own monitoring it is plug and play. The camera uses DHCP so you must have that feature on on your router, and use a program (maygion) that searches for the camera, my case was 192.168.1.108 port 81.

Other: Still have not used camera´s wifi. But this looks like a solid product, cant tell by now but for what I have seen, I can only ask to have good durability and the money will be worth it. This cameras cost much more money on my country (arg).
