IR Infrared Motion Detector Sensor Module - Green (DC 5~24V)

Pros: - IR sensor works like a charm. - Trim regulator lets you adjust relay closing time. - Can be used with plenty varieties of voltages and powers, from simple AAA to powerful Lead-Acid batteries. - Separated sensor PCB gives you more flexibility when placing the sensor.

Cons: - No range/sensibility regulator. - Relay makes a loud "click" when triggered.

Other: I wanted to build an IR controlled 12V led light and I first tried with sku.139624 but I had no means of making it close a relay with its low output. Someone told me to fix my problem with a transistor, but since I don't have much knowledge of electronics he suggested me to buy this module with included relay. And, man, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Pros: Has an adjustable pot unlike many other products, able to adjust off delay time. Very useful. Otherwise simple and easy to wire up.

Cons: Would be nice to see connector on both ends of PIR sensor, instead it's hardwired to board. PIR board is much larger than others, can be a major annoyance depending on your application. Ended up swapping it with a PIR sensor from another module i bought

Other: Get it for the adjustable pot

Pros: Relativ smal but the circuit boards could be smaler. and does what it should do. Only short time testing but, a nice product for the price. Bouth of the circuit boards has holes so easily fixed to something. The timing potentiometer could have a + and - for easier adjustment of the time.

Cons: No direct cons but read the "Other Thoughts"

Other: I got this for testing purposes only but I´m preaty shure I will use it for a light project in the future. If you need a cheap IR-motion detector buy this.
