JR-5050 Waterproof 75W 900LM 3000K Warm White 300-SMD 5050 LED Flexible Light Strip (12V / 5M)

Pros: Good price. Looks like its waterproof.

Cons: Strong solvent odor.

Other: In order to achieve 75W I need to use 15V supply, I think.

Pros: The color of a light is wery nice similar to a clasic light. With 12V they draw 2.5A so they are 30W not 75W as in description. You can put a litle more electricity to get more power but then they get wery hot and this is not good.

Cons: The duble sided 3M is a crap. They stay in place yust for about 5 minutes so I have tu use another glue.

Other: If you dont search for wery bright stripes this are wright for you. Put a nice 3.2A SKU: 100394 or better 5A SKU:94978 and you get a nice durable kitchen light.

Pros: Nice warm color, uniform glow. Has wires soldered to both ends. When powered from just one end, strip draws close to 2.8A @12V. Voltage drops to ~10V at other end (see image). So if you want to use whole 5m strip, cut it in half and power both sides, soldering wires together. Transparent goo is very soft and easy to bend. Can be cut at every 5cm section.

Cons: Smell is a bit weird but goes away after some hours. Glue is not that good so I used hot melt glue to keep the strip in place.

Other: If you need nice warm light and know how to solder a thing then go for it.

Pros: - neutral tint (slightly purple tint) - cheap!!!

Cons: - slight purple tint - double sided tape of bad quality - strip itself came loose from the leds, but leds where still working - leds are separately accessible (not useful for white only 5050 in my eyes...it just makes the soldering more cumbersome )

Other: they do what they are supposed to do. tint is a matter of taste. soldering is easier if the leds wouldn't be seperately accessible, but it's just like soldering RGB strips...

Pros: Very good Light, not blue, or yellow. 100% Watterproof. very nice.

Cons: The tape under the strip is not that good quality. it wont cling very good. I used a bit of cyanoacrylate adhesive to fix this problem.

Other: At all, it is a good product. i think, i gonna buy some more of them. For your Information: The pins are R,G,B,+. This means on "+" you lead 12VDC and on "R,G,B" you solder the Ground. It is neaded to solder all of them. Every Pin is responsible just for 1/3 of the LED.
