What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: This an excellent product!
--It's really cheap (3 to 4 times cheaper) if you compare it to other bluetooth radios sold on other sites
--It comes with free shipping
--already has the male pins attached, there is no need to solder or make a board for it.
--you can plug it directly into your breadboard
Cons: NONE whatsoever.
Other: It's a excellent product if you want to take your electronics project to the next level. It's really easy to use with Arduino.
I use my Android phone with the app 'Bluescripts' to control my arduino wirelessly.

Pros: I got this up and running on a quadcopter for configuration and it was dead simple. The password is 1234 and the baud rate is 38400 by default. However I went to switch the RX/TX wires on the microcontroller, but accidentally switched 5v and gnd resulting in a puff of smoke. It comes with a nice connector wire, but it isn't color coded.
Cons: If you reverse the voltage it dies. It would have taken a $.01 diode to prevent this or maybe if it came with colored wires.
Other: Great value, just double check your wires.

Pros: 4 pins: GND, Power, TX and RX. Flash "ASCII Test" to an Arduino and wire it up to the primary TX and RX port. Download BlueTerm for Android for an easy way to connect. It just works! You can change the Name and PIN via AT commands. Super-cheap and works fantastic
Cons: Can't be set for master mode - only slave. This means that you can't connect two of these devices together - you need to use a computer or phone with bluetooth
Other: If you have any interest in connecting an Arduino to an Android device, pick one of these up. Also useful for a computer!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Cheap! -Very small and light. Barely noticeable. -Easy to use. Just plug in the included 4 pin female-female cable to the module and the other end to Vcc, Gnd, Tx and Rx on a Arduino, and your'e ready to go. -Simple to connect to the module with a terminal program on a PC or Android cellphone and send control commands(appears as LINVOR with a pin of 1234). -Doesn't require any special programming or code library's to integrate in to your program.
Cons: Only one: The lack of reverse polarity protection in the circuit. Be careful not to switch Vcc and Gnd by mistake or it will fry it in an instant! (happened to me....)
Other: Great, cheap and easy solution for your wireless Arduino project. Simple to interface with it, the same way you would use the Arduino IDE's serial monitor to send commands via usb, just wireless.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Easiest configuration ever, just shove it on RX/TX pins on Arduino and power it with 5V, also from Arduino, and you are all set! Small form factor, great for embedding applications Range is awesome! I could keep serial communication all around my apartment at 9600bps.
Cons: No cons, this is a must buy if you are on Arduino business.
Other: Definitely recommend this module. If you are looking for a cheap and effective way to integrate wireless serial communication to your arduino project this is the way to go. Buy a couple.

Pros: - It's small - It looks like it's been built very good - Easy to connect
Cons: - D.O.A. - It does not work. After I got it, i've tried connecting it to the arduino. The red led started to flash, but that was all I got. Not a single Bluetooth device was able to find the BT port. I must have read dozens of reviews, or articles with this project in, but I could not get anywhere, the BT port still flashes red, and it's not locatable as a BT connection.
Other: Can't say anything about this without a working one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: very good quality, comes with connection cable(good extra cable for free). Used to control my android Bluetooth tank. No problems to bind with my HTC Desire S(tank is controlled via Android device) Power is enough straight from MSP430 Launchpad. No device restarts or others surprises. Btw all schematic is put in the plastic bag, so I am not worried to hack something.
Cons: No Cons, very easy to use, device has marks where is what connection RX,TX, VDD and GDN
Other: This is super deal, going to buy second one next week for my second robot.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Worked right out of the box (or should I say bubble wrap), clear markings on the PCB, pairing led very useful, nice to have a voltage regulator on board so you can feed it 5V without risk of breaking it (beware though that the data lines are still 3.3V).
Cons: No documentation whatsoever, not even a cheat sheet or an indication of the default configuration (9600bps 8,N,1 BTW). Luckily the comments here provided enough information to get it going.
Other: Buy it if you have a device with a 3.3V serial and you need to access it via bluetooth.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very small board. Pins already connected (no soldering necessary) Comes with connection cable Has a protective sheathing around the board.
Cons: No spec sheet, link to spec sheet, or other information. Can you change the pin code for connecting? No idea, we don't have the docs.
Other: Cheap bluetooth serial module. If you want a wireless connection from your computer to a project, this is prefect.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This is such a cheap board to buy in the first place and it's a real bonus that it comes with breakout pins and a compatible cable. Connecting the board up is as simple as swapping connections between tx and rx between board and arduino and connecting +5v and grn to arduino board. From there, it's a doddle to send and receive serial data to/from the Arduino.
Cons: There are no cons at all. However, I couldn't get the board to recognise any AT+ commands, but I am certain that it's my own stupidity that hampers me here, so do not be put off.
Other: Bottom line is that this is really a no-brainer. It's so easy to get working and seems to have a good range and reliability that I cannot see any reason not to buy this, if you're after an Arduino-compatible bluetooth module.
