Pros: Well built. Better instructions than sku.23486 but still heavy chingrish. On the other hand, this is a no brainer to use.

Cons: The metal frame in this version of Sky Lantern is of a bigger guage, and to heavy! It can hardly lift from the ground until almost the whole waxbloch has burned. The one I've tested so far just flew for 3 minutes before it went out of fuel. I estimate that it got 600-700meters away. (half a mile)

Other: If you have a choise between this item and item sku.23486 then go for the other one. (23486)

Pros: Great product Really easy to use!
i dont know why the other man above me said that the fuel run out.
my latern after 15min , i couldent see it , it flew for more then 3kilometers , Should have put a wire or somting!

Cons: only cons is when you make then fly TRY NOT TO BURN THE SKY LATERN.
price is a littel too much,

But , i think i will try to get them from hongkong , 2.5$ For each is good , but you get addicted and will want more.

Pros: - Doesn't cost much considering that they come in packs of two.
- Beautiful and exciting when everything goes ok and the balloon lifts up high into the sky.
- Easy to set-up.
- Quite an exotic gift.

Cons: - Weather conditions have to be perfect for this to work correctly (ie. no wind).
- The wax might not be enought for an long flight and may brake off by itself.
- Sometimes hard to get the wax-bricket to light.
- Takes quite long to fill up the balloon.
- May be against the law in some countries.
- Lifts up slowly, so may get entangled in trees etc.

Other: It is highly recommended that you check you local law-enforcement/fire brigade if these are allowed. In some countries these are absolutely forbidden during drought or extended warm periods. Please take care and don't get into trouble by accident!

Pros: -The build quality is good -There comes a piece of wax with every balloon. -It looks pretty, i had the purple one (look at my video)

Cons: -None yet, i didn't fly with it yet so.. :)

Other: buy it if u want a sky lantern.. :) A sky lantern is a pretty cool thing, it's also a nice gift for people on their birthday. you can also attach a note on the balloon with a wish ;) then it's a wishing balloon.

Pros: Very beautiful and fun. It is bigger than what I expected, there need to be two persons to make it fly, plus one more to carry the flashlight if it is very dark. It seems that the fire stops before the lantern land so it might not be dangerous at all...

Other: Wonderful, lot of fun but you might have difficulties to find a good spot to launch them since it can go far (3-4km)

Cons: - Resin pack drips while burning and can make a mess and catch dry grass on fire - 1 from 8 I've launched didn't catch on fire - One of the resin packs was crushed on delivery

Other: I love it, but you need to make sure you don't burn down a house or forest! Really cool!

-Made of wire, when i got mine it was twisted so bodly i knew if it were bamboo it would have been broken(i blame the postal system)

-No real instructions for the English speaking, it had horrible translation , i suppose that should be expexted for something from a chineese website.
- Could potentialy be dangerous.
-After i started looking around i found them much cheaper on other sites but i wont sayt that 2.50 Ea. is a bad price because you get free shipping .

Other: Bottom line is that its a cool little gift , to help cheer someone up. Its not too costly and won't break in our mail systems. A good, Cheap little buy , well worth the money.

- kids loves to see them flying !

Cons: - sometimes, there is a little hole in the paper, that involve the sky lantern going less far than usual
- build quality may be improved

Other: great for a gift or for fun, so try it !

Pros: The lantern is exactly as on the pictures, and as described: thin-paper construction, with an inner thin-wire support construction. The heat it produces is able to take it 100-200m high, which is pretty impressive considering the low price. It also produces a nice red-ish light (due to the paper used).

Cons: It is somehow hard to start the lantern – but not really a con, more something you need to manage. It is highly important that there is absolutely no wind; otherwise the lantern will not take off.

Other: I can recommend it; the item is a lot of fun, especially if you are a group of two or more.
