Pros: A packet of two hot air balloons. Simple to use. Just open the cellophane wrapper av take it out. Attach the waxfuel to the metal cross underneath and crimp it in place by the wires. Swoop the balloon in the air so it inflates a bit. Lite the fuelblock and hold the balloon leveled until it rise to the sky.
It took me two matches to light the fuel.

Cons: Two balloons with shipping from Hong Kong for just $5.99 is cheap, but if DX should be able to shave of another 50 cents, it would be great.

Other: I havent been able to time the fuel burning time. After about five minutes my balloon reached the clouds and dissapeared from sight. At this point the balloon was well over three kilometers away. (two miles)

Pros: The quality is good, also the working instruction is good. You can see the light for a long time. building up is no problem.
I wrapped of the paper and fold it out. it was not hard to find out how you have to put the burning part into the balloon. it also burs quite rapid. Overall it is a great product for a very reasanoble price.

Pros: this item was 100% what was seen in other pictures posted here on DX. instructions printed in Chinese (?) but great illustrations allowed me to assemble in moments. took a minute to get the fuel block lit and the baloon inflated with hot air but when it became lighter and lighter i knew it was time to let it go! great visual in the sky!

Pros: This is exactly what it looks like. You unfold it, and theres a block of wax with a hole in the middle. You stick two little metal tabs through it and pull them apart and that keeps the wax block suspended. Light it on fire and the hot air rises and is caught by the balloon. Let it go and watch it fly.

Cons: The only con is the price. I don't know what they cost to produce but I wish they were like a buck each so I could buy 20 of them.

Other: Great, unique item. Release in cold weather for best results.

Pros: Good Cheap Fun, These are cheap and fun. It is best to use these on a calm night for best results.After these are inflated these go really far. Easiest way to light these is with a candle or propane torch as a lighter gets pretty hot.Good Cheap Fun

Pros: The Balloons are cheap and work well for what they are. If you coat them in glow paint, some people will think they are aliens and run away screaming! Most people know the difference though so you can't trick everyone.

Cons: They took nearly two months to arrive! It would have been quicker to light them in China when the wind was blowing in the right direction and let them fly here by themselves...

Other: Good buy that will bring lots of enjoyment and fun.

Pros: It is nice and "calm" option for fireworks. Have also more "romantic" attitude. Needs little bit effort to get it light up.

Cons: Price is little bit high considering it is Deal Extreme product. I have bought these from Thailand for peanuts.

Other: Good product but little bit pricey. Also be careful when using because it will get hot.

Pros: I got this for something romantic to do for me and my girlfriends 1.5 year anniversary and she loved it! It was especially great lighting them off of a 1000-ft dock over the river. Went very high and very far!

Cons: Pretty sure they landed on the Naval Base a few miles down the river. (not a product con, more of an oh sh*t) If you're not careful, the wax can burn you

Cons: Bought several of these for my girlfriend and yet it doesnt say " i love you " like the one in the picture... at least not in english ( Lithuanian ). I would rather prefer something in chinese writing say" i love you"... but not this... Myliu Tave....

Other: Great Product. It would be better if the product advertise that " i love you" will be in a random language than english. Other than that! Its great! have fun !!!

Pros: Comes especially cheap when bought on DealExtreme Clearance. Not easy to find these in Norway, therefore finding sky lanterns here is a great +

Cons: The sky lanterns is made of thin paper, therefore they rip very easily, one of the two I ordered there was a big hole in. But this can be fixed by tape.

Other: If you are looking for some cheap sky lanterns buy these.
