Laptop Diagnostic Card (4-Digit Codes)

Pros: - works great but not for noob users - nice technology

Cons: - for novice users only! - sometimes it does not give any error code when there is a deffective part

Other: nice diagnostic card

Pros: - Really cheap - If works, easy debugging - comes with manual

Cons: - Not compatible with most systems I tested
- Not compatible with notebooks without LTP (printerport)
- Manual not especially for this product, half the manual does nog apply, a lot of guessing has to be done.
- Manual not clear at all

Other: If you need such a thing, and you are curious and patient enough to figure out yourself how the bloody thing works, its worth it's money, however, Im not so pleased with it.

Pros: -It is very cheap (like everything on Deal Extreme!!!)
-It is a quick, easy way to perform motherboard diagnostics when your pc won't boot.
-Comes with lovely short USB cable.
-No need for parallel cable, it just plugs right in.

Cons: -Only compatible with computers with a Parallel Printer port. This makes it quite obsolete as the majority of laptops no longer come with these ports, likewise with PCs.
-Requires USB power....not a big issue, just means you have to plug in an extra cable.
-Seems to come with a manual for a different product altogether! I managed to work it out though.

Other: Its a cheap way to test your PCs, and find out more or less exactly what's wrong in case of hardware failure.
Handy to have, but it's not something I would use a lot.

Pros: 1. Very good price for usefull tool 2. Can accept both USB and Parallel printer port (LPT) (I tested only with USB connecntion) 3. LED indicator is very bright and big enough 4. Included user manual is good but not perfect. 5. Lightweight! Just have it in you PC repairing equipment bag!!! 6. USB Cable included. 7. Solid build quality.

Cons: 1. 4 LED's is a little too hard to understand for novice users. But is you are an expert it's not a cons. 2. Parallel cable not included ( Does anyone use LPT? ) 3. Would be nice if it has small bag (for card, cable and manual) included. 4. Sometimes show errors when computer running perfectly.

Other: Good, cheap must have tool for every PC/Laptop mechanic. You never know when it can help you. So buy one and put it in your PC repairing ewuipment bag.
