Large 3-CH R/C Battle Tank (11-Inch) Rechargeable

Pros: Very realistic and very powerfull... Diesel engine sound, simulated kick effect when you shoot with the canon. The battery last for around 15 minutes. Interesting toy. It seems possible to buy another one with a different frequency to fight each other 220 v AC charger.

Cons: It's in plastic.
Not water proof. Cannot go outside

Other: I would like to know if dx will sell the other model with a different frequency ?

Pros: - Cheap
- Realistic diesel engine sound
- Easy to control when you get used to it
- Can be used in fight against another tank(with different frequency)
- Quite powerful
- Recoil in the Tank when you fire the cannon

Cons: - Not waterproof
- Some plastic parts may break if you are careless

Other: Its a fun toy to a very good price.
I will try to order another one and hope that DX sends me with a different frequency.

Pros: - Low price - More power than expected

Cons: - Cheap plastics - Tracks seems to "get stuck" sometimes - charger is only with "flat plugs", not the round plugs used here in Norway.

Other: I guess I will have som fun with this one. Haven't checked the internals of the charger, but it looks quite sturdy on the outside. Will not leave the charger in overnight though

Pros: - Great functionality for an RC toy. - Looks very cool. Designed by someone who really loves tanks ;) The kickbak effect is also great. - Has mode with sound and also quiet mode. - Rechargeable. - Comes with decent English manual. - Good plastic & paint, no bad smell from the tank.

Cons: - Battery pack is only 400 mAh. About 10-15 minutes of playing and then 3-4 hours of recharging. Can't replace it with normal AA batteries without some DIY-ing. However, this feels like a real problem only for the first two days :) - The turret could have a magnetic coupler to avoid gear wearing when it hooks on something. Also it could rotate faster. - Automatic going into demo mode after ~8 seconds after power on can be annoying, especially if it causes the tank to crashes into something or even fall off a table :) - "Machinegun" firing blinks with a LED in the cannon. Would be better if there was another LED for machinegun. - The remote is not handy for driving and shooting simultaneously (although the tank itself does that very nicely).

Other: A very well designed and quality toy.

Pros: -(Obvious)Price. Same type of tanks on ebay, or anywhere else is about 50 euros, not us dollars. -It is radio control, not IR, so it can go outside on a sunny day, not just flare itself out, like me helicopter. -Sturdy and powerful

Cons: -Low battery capacity. And i cant find that standart is the plug, somekind of tamya preverted copy. - Turret is wobly-dobly - IR that receives hit is on top of the turret, that obviously makes tank fights look like two tanks standing in front of each other just shooting. like in westerns, faster trigger wins the battle. Better would be to place it in hull and turret rear panels, so you have to outmaneuver enemy to damage it.

Other: I'd buy 27 mhz version asap
