LCD Breathalyzer (Blood Alcohol Level Tester)

Pros: Nice little unit with handy strap on the side, very clear and lighted up LCD screen. Simple on / off operation.

Cons: Batteries don't seem to last too long in the unit, my experience using it the batteries seemed to die after about 5 readings. Could be the batteries I am using though.

Other: Bargain for your buck, great novelty item however I would recommend it not be solely relied upon. Great to mess about with your mates after having a few drinks, see who scores the highest!

Pros: Good novelty item

Cons: Build quality isn't great, but it will survive sitting in a glove box.

Not sure about the readings. i bought 2 of them and they give different readings, but if you leave it for 10-20 mins between tests.

Other: get one if u have a spare $10 you havnt spend on booze yet.

Pros: The unit is smaller then expected and came in professional packaging with a good manual. It is very easy to use and the overall build quality is good.

Cons: I am a bit concerned about the accuracy, although so far I only had one chance to test it, but after four 12 ounce beers over 2 hours it claimed a BAC of 0.01, which seems a bit low even for me (I am a pretty big guy and handle my alcohol well)

Other: It's 10 bucks, what did I expect? Its a fun toy and I will take it to the bar this weekend - we'll see how it holds up.

Pros: The only pros I can think of for this product is that it looks expensive and has a LCD screen and seems to be pretty sturdy.

Cons: It doesn't work. It gives false ratings. I brought this to a huge party once trying to see who could blow the highest it was during the end of the night when everyone was completely HAMMERED! This thing didn't give a BAC of more than .08%...

Other: Waste of money and potentially really dangerous...

Pros: I have received this item. Couple days ago and it`s nice in party and everywhere else. I don`t know it`s accuracies but i think that this is enough accuracies for me. Nice design and useless product.

Cons: It`s good and useless for me. So i think its worth to buy. It``s fun think in party to check who is drunk from your friends...

Other: If you need good Breathalyzer to check Alcohol Level in your blood you can buy this one ore you can try to order the cheaper one from DX.

Pros: - Really simple to use
- Good quality built.
- nice orange backlight

Cons: - annoying "rest" time of like 5 mins or mroe dependin on the last blow, otherwise it gives false readings
- NOT very accurate, its accurancy was very good at first, but as night progressed a girl who were throwing solid .13, she kept drinking whiskey and then started throwing .09

Other: Really fun party piece, this is by no means as accurate as a police one but well its 1/10th of the price of a real one, i recommend it, its quite fun.

Pros: - A portable breathalyzer ;)
- Very fun in parties ans pubs.
- Pretty decent LCD screen.

Cons: - Most expensive breathalyzer in DX (only because the LCD screen)
- It isn't accuracy.
- Hard to get a measure higher than .1 ;)
- Consumes a high level of battery (2 good quality AAA batteries can easily go away).

Other: Don't trust in this gadget to drive, the police brathalyzer is thousand times more accuracy, if you drink, better not to drive.

Pros: - Works very well. I've tested it in several situations and it really measures the alcohol level.
- The illuminated screen is very useful to see the the results on dark bars.
- Comes with a handy strap for carrying.

Cons: - Looks like it consumes a lot o battery.

Other: - It's fun to take at barbecues and parties, to entertain everyone.
