LCD Digital Clock Thermometer and Humidity Meter

Pros: The display is large with huge numbers. Both temperature, humidity and time is displayed at the same time. The build quality seems good. Battery was included.

Cons: The instruction manual was only in Chinese. I had to do a bit of trial and error to set the correct time and date and adjust the clock to 24hrs. (The trick was to double-tap on some of the buttons).

Other: All in all I'm very pleased with this product.

Pros: Large clean display. Basic use is simple (but see below), seems pretty accurate.

Cons: Instructions are ONLY in Chinese which is a bit of a problem to get it set up.

Pros: I was looking for a device like that for a long time. Now, I found it in DX, for a really good price and quality.
Manual is in English and it is good enough to teach how to set it. Its really easy and instructions were not necessary.
Memory feature is great. You may see what were maximum and minimum temperature and humid.
Controls are simple and functional.
There is a button on back, to change to Fahrenheit or Celsius with just a click. Very useful. But... there is another button, near this, which reset time, date and memories. Take care with this one.
Digits are large enough to be seen far from it.

Cons: Size is good for domestic use, but I would like to buy another one, bigger, to use in my business.

Other: Good design to have it at home.

Pros: Shows you a nice collection of information (time, humidity, time) in large digits.

Cons: I bought two and set them up beside the thermostat and the analog thermometer in my apartment: the SKU 3172's measured 0.5 degrees Celsius higher in temperature.

Other: I am not sure what the real temperature is in my apartment, but my neighbour and I can still compare relative temperatures.

Pros: Like one DX client wrotes a review above here, I am looking too for a device like this, becouse I have twins pre-mature daughters in the house (they losts body´s warmness for the environment in few minutes).
So, a gadget with an Air Moisture display and Ambient Temperature is a plus, to helps fragile lifes like this little humans of mine, to feel much better and to warns me, about dangerous or critical states of Brazilian Sub-Tropical Weather, like excessive Dryness, a bad thing, for every mammal species... ;)
When this device comes home, I bring it to a Meteorologist friend of mine wich works on the Local Airport and this fellow gives an non-official ´A` to the product, named it ´Precisely as Most Scientifical Meters´.

Cons: Maybe a Night View Display, but... How the makers of this gadget can solve it? If the prices highs, just to obtain an easy lecture under a dark room, maybe it was not too interesting to buy one... Maybe a Blue LCD Display, lighted even in the daytime, than, at night, a slightly constrast on display, can do the job.
Or a photo sensor, to ligth the display automatically under dark environments.
It works better fine, if hangged on walls, do NOT put on a desk, it not works very fine in this stand-up position, the risks to fallin down at the floor, is HUGE.

Other: Nice ´BAUHAUS-like` design style, effective, big display, idiot-proof instructions.
Buy more of one and achieve the discounts, than, you will be happy to put one in your bedroom, in the Office, on the Garage...

Pros: It's a good quality product. I have another similar at home and the measurements are pretty much the same. It's useful to know when to use the humidifier in a dry air day.
Can be hung up on the wall or used on a desk. Really big display. Good alarm volume.

Cons: Could have another version with background illumination, but it's not really needed unless you are going to use it in your bedroom.

Other: I recommend it!

Very easy to use, didn't even need to look at the manual.

Very large, easy to read LCD display

Keeps track of highest and lowest temperature and humidity.

Cons: The LCD is not backlit.
No other cons so far, I'm really happy with this device.

Other: Well worth the price.

Pros: Interesting divice, easy to use. Very usefull because all the informations are in same divice. Beautful and elegant.

Cons: I received the device with a problem, the clock and alarm do not appears. I tried all the procedures but the problem continues. I think the problem occurs when the divice was made, I don´t think it occured during transportation because the others itens arived ok.

Other: Divice with problem.

Pros: Clock has a big LCD display, so is it easy to see values from distance. You can place it on table, because it has supporting legs or hang it on the wall.
Gadget have good temperature accuracy, I'd put it next other digital thermometer and they show the same temperature.

Cons: No backlight. In the settings menu you can only increase clock values, so sometimes you need to press button many times to achieve desired value.

Other: Nice thing for his price :) In my local electronics store same thing, but without clock, and with smaller display would cost me 18 USD.

- Thermometer is quite precise
- Works great

Cons: - Price could be lower

Other: There is a lot of people complanig about the backlight, but I don't think it's really necessary unless you're gonna put it in some extremelly dark place.
