LCD MP3 Player Car FM Transmitter with IR Remote and USB Port

Pros: This unit works really well.. much better than some more expensive versions. I drive a car where the cigarette plug is inside of the centre console. This units fits in the console and is able to still be picked up by the radio when the console lid is closed.

Cons: No search/skip sub-directory feature. You have to go through all songs in directory before moving onto next one

Other: Great buy, works really well

Pros: Works with MP3 and WMA files on digital media. Very powerful transmitter.

Cons: Extremely difficult to navigate digital audio tracks.

Other: This is my favourite FM xmitter here on DX.

Pros: Very Easy to use (Just put the usb or the sd card and starts transmiting) and you can see the title of the song playing on the LCD. Low price. Good looking

Cons: It couldn't read my old 128MB SD Card but worked with no problem with my 1GB card.

Other: I would buy it again with no second thought.

Pros: has a remote! can play with the SD slot! 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable is included. 2.5mm on the transmitter side and 3.5mm on the mp3 player side

Cons: the remote sucks!
the remote is completely different from the one in picture
the SD slot spring sucks!
noise problems (kinda fixed it)
2.5mm to 3.5mm cable might be hard to find if it breaks.
no volume button on the transmitter
changing frequency is VERY slow

Other: ok here's how I did it.
I put my mp3 player as 50% volume and my radio as 50% volume. When increasing or decreasing the volume, try to adjust both at the same time. That seem to affect the quality more than adjusting the frequency to me. I used 103.9 btw if it helps anyone.

Pros: Works well. Fast startup. Handles 1Gb SD card, 4Gb USB drive and 8Gb USB Drive.

Cons: The sound quality is pretty ordinary. Very bright and hard to listen to for long periods at loudish volumes.

Remote is useless.

Other: Great value. You get what you pay for.

Pros: - excellent price - reasonable build quality - SD/USB support + external media player support - easy to read LCD display - remote control

Cons: - sound quality average
- lacks features (e.g. shuffle, pause)
- basic memory (i.e. when car turned off, current track starts again from beginning, not where the track stopped).

Other: Whilst this device has a number of flaws, it is still the cheapest and most convenient way to listen to MP3s in a car. If you're an audiophile, give this a big miss. However, for the rest of us who just want to be able to listen to MP3s in a car without going to a load of hassle and expense of installing a new head unit, this could be just what you're looking for.

Pros: Works well with my 1GB SD card and 128 MB USB drive. Sound quality good. Remote works well

Cons: Remembers the track but does not remember the point where a song was playing. I splitted my 60 miutes file into 60 small files to avoid repeating from the beginning. But, it does not understand the sequence.

Other: I can save a lot of CDs by converting my Audio files into MP3.

Pros: inexpensive, compact, transmits on all frequencies

Cons: doesn't work well with all flash drives and SD cards
remote isn't that great

Other: Not bad at all for $13. Will save me from cluttering the car with CDs. If you get noise or interference, try different flash drives.

Pros: Cheap. Can run off both SD and USB sticks. Good sound quality and easy to use although LCD isn't the easiest to read at night time.

Cons: None, at this price. The remote is a bit cheap, but that's to be expected. I have no complaints.

Other: At £6, who can complain. It's fantastic value for money and really useful. I can leave it in the car and not worry a jot about losing it. The SD card it uses is worth more!

Pros: easy to use remote works perfect this has a stong transmit level much better than the $40 belkin i own, proven by my friends car 5 cars behind me listning to the same music. the display is easy to read shows mp3 song title, time, along with other info. USB, SD ect

Other: i have bought 3 more for friends that i have shown this too. don't waste your money on a new car stereo all you need is a lighter and FM radio. add 1gb flash drive you can have a new car stereo for about $22
