What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -it works well -it's quite bright -it has 4 modes: 1 LED, 7 LEDs, 21 LEDs & 21 LEDs blinking
Cons: -the beam is too focused and lights small area -i needed to add some padding to mount it firmly on handle bar
Other: good 3xAAA bike lamp. the best you could get for this money.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Helps a bike be seen. A LOT less expensive than if purchased at a bike shop. Common battery size (3xAAA)
Cons: Just not bright enough to really light a trail satisfactorily for me.
Other: Probably great on a kids bike, or to help your bike be seen, but wouldn't count on it for riding trails at night.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Pretty decent handlebar mounting system (for something this cheap). Easy switch action, with 4 modes (low, medium, high, flashing). Uses 3 AAA batteries.
Cons: Not bright enough to illuminate your path at all. Higher modes give a bit more spill, but almost no more brightness.
Other: Really only useful to enhance your visibility to others (NOT useful to illuminate your path), so the flashing mode is really the only useful one. Had I known, I would have just bought a clear LED flasher like SKU 5835.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Powerful light, easy to install and works off normal batteries
Cons: would be nice to have flash mode in 1 LED and 7 LED as well
Other: For this price you cant go wrong with it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I put two of these on my Electric Bicycle which does 40mph. The Bike has a Crystalite 5303 Hub motor and 52v Lithium Batteries. They light up the streets perfect at night. Maybe not as bright as these $100-$200 HID kits but I paid $15...Cant beat that
Cons: Nothing so far. Just make sure you buy Rechargeables for it.
Other: Great LED Bike lights and the best price around.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Does its job - Uses common batteries (3xAAA) - Modes with 3 levels of brightness and flashing mode - Cheap - Easy to switch modes
Cons: - Bit worried that it will fall off like my previous similar light (mind you, I stacked the bike and that was the only reason the light fell off) - Not sure how it will cope with rain
Other: Great for riding around town in the night where there is lighting already however I have no issues riding 30km/h on rural roads that I have moderate familiarity with.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very easy to operate. Uses standard 3xAAA batteries. 3 modes of brightness. Good looking.
Cons: The build quality is really bad. And I mean really bad. I managed to broke one piece while I was mounting it. It is really hard to mount because the plastic is really hard. I was getting the feeling that it will break any moment. There is no manual and you have to take 1 piece off to mount it, but there is no clue you have to take it off.
Other: If you are not handy and don't have a lot of nerves and time, don't buy this. Buy another one. I will buy it again if needed because I now know how to operate with it. It's not much money for a 21 LED light. I didn't want the 53 LED because, 53 LEDs are just too much.
