LED Flashing Dog Collar

Pros: Strong, pretty collar. LEDs are bright enough to be seen without being too bright to annoy the dogs eyes. Fun. Great for spotting dog at night several hundred yards away.

Cons: The LEDs cover only about 1/3 of the collar, so at some angles they are not visibile. I had some trouble with getting the batteries in correctly. Be careful. The tabs are weak. The collar is a bit heavy and a little stiff.

Other: Great collar. Get one.

Pros: This is a great collar. I wanted to update my previous review as I have owned it a few months now, and I have learned it has a few more negatives.

Cons: The battery box is the weakest part of this collar. Be VERY careful when you open it. Batteries can pop out and it can be confusing on how they go in (plus side up). Also the metal contact that is on the bottom of the battery box can jiggle loose when the box is opened - and it may still look like it is in place, but it is not. This can cause the lights to be dim or not work at all. Use a pen to push the contact back into place (down and forward slightly). The upper contacts break easily. Don't bend them. The battery box is a little bulky and ugly. A couple of people thought it was a shock collar! The stiffness of the collar can make it a bit difficult to buckle. I have not tried to really wash it - as the electronics can not be removed from the collar. I use a damp cloth to wipe it down. This is a problem with a dog that likes to roll in smelly stuff - a damp wipe is not enough - the collar will still stink.

Other: I still like this collar a lot, and I still recommend it.
