The batteries have a case, they are not loose inside the lantern...

Pros: Construction quality is very good. It is anodised aluminium. Light is very powerful for the size that is. Although four batteries, they are very cheap here and lasts enough. It is very robust, and they are also very beautiful. I have four and they all work perfectly

Cons: Spring of hiking clips lasts very shortly, of the four I have only my remaining two
