LED Headlamp 8 LED

Pros: Similar to other headband flashlights this one is very useful for hands free operation where light is needed. Switch chooses 2,4 or 8 LEDs. No flashing selection. Lamp section swivels to point at angle required. Plenty of light.

Cons: A little bulkier than some more compact models although the over-top elastic strap should prevent the lamp slipping down on your head.

Other: A good headband hands free flashlight at a good price provided yours is not one of the RED LED mistakes.It will be very difficult to tell which LEDs are used without opening the bubble pack.

Pros: Wonderful color to the light, this is much warmer than any of my other LED flashlights (even my Petzl head lamp). Everything else looks at least a bit blue in comparison, this is my favorite one for color temperature. Brightness at low setting is slightly brighter than on my Petzl head lamp. At medium and high it is really quite useful. I bought for power outage / emergency primarily, and the low power will be plenty for living comfortably without power so gives better battery life.

Cons: One of the two I ordered didn't turn on at first. I gave it a tap on the side and it worked. After that it worked perfectly even when I shook it around and tapped it and such so build quality is fine.

Other: It far exceeded my expectation, would recommend and would buy again in an instant.

Pros: Nice and bright. Perfect at night. Can use only 2 LED's at a time to save power. Excellent price! Lasts a while with my rechargable AAA batteries

Cons: Only one button, so if you are using only 2 LED's, you have to cycle through 4 and 8 (pressing the button twice) to turn it off. One of mine arrived and the switch wasnt working. Had to undo it and re-connect the switch.

Other: Get one if you want a cheap flashlight for night!

Pros: I've been searching for a good headlamp for late night reading in bed - and I've found it! I've searched for a long time, and have bought others on DX, but this is the best yet. The LEDs (and reflector) work great and best of all the headband is larger and is very comfortable on large heads. Super product all around.

Cons: None, except perhaps needing a lower low setting. The 3 modes work well but I'd like a super low setting so as to not bother my wife sleeping next to me.

Other: Good product and great value for the low price. Buy it, I bought two.

Pros: Great price, good light, very comfortable after minor modification, very light compared to my incandescent headlamp.

Cons: I had a little trouble with getting the batteries in right, also, where the ends of the straps have been heat treated to prevent fraying they are a little scratchy. I just cut those bits off, it's comfortable now, and I haven't had any problems with the ends fraying.

Other: I've seen an LED head light with 3 led's at the store locally for $18 bucks. This is simply a great light, and the price can't be beat.

Pros: The big attraction here of course is the price. With 8 LEDs it's not going to light up a cavern, but it throws a pretty good light a couple feet away from you, so it's good for close-up work.

Cons: The angle of the light is adjustable, but even the lowest position throws the light a little higher than I'd like. Would like to see more downward adjustability. Only 8 LEDs so useful only for close-up work.

Other: A good inexpensive tool that does what it needs to do. Why pay more if all you're doing with it is close-up work?

Pros: Very handy for handsfree operation. Quite comfortable wearing it. Adjustable straps 3-Modes of brightness.

Cons: Doesn't come with batteries
Not as bright as I thought

Other: Very good deal for the money. Get it!

Pros: Great Price! Good light output considering number of LED's. Had a power failure shortly after receiving, and came in quite handy (closets dark even in the day!).

Cons: Adjustment angle is limited. Would be good if it could point down another 15 - 20 degrees.

Other: Great product for the price.

Pros: Fairly bright considering the price. Has 3 brightness modes.

Cons: The headband is a little small.

Other: For the price, it's pretty good.
