LED Reading Light

Pros: -nice, spring open action to turn on -lightweight -bright enough

Cons: -cheap build quality (wires inside smashed, breaking on mine after a few uses) -rather bulky, especially to clip on anything but a decent size book

Other: worth the price for a book light, especially if you're lucky and the wires were seated properly.

Pros: Very cheap, Bright light, Interesting 'automated' fold out system when turned on (uses coils or something inside the unit) Easy to replace batteries (use three LR44/AG13) Works well for lighting up keyboards in dark rooms.

Cons: Quite big for what it is, Not sure how easy it is to use on thinner books (due to it's size)

Other: If you read alot of books, especially just before going to bed then this is for you - at this price why not?

Pros: This reading light is much better than the one I already had which was more money. It is very durable as I've dropped it a few time and it's still going strong. The light is very bright and it has a cool design as well.

Cons: I can't think of any cons besides that the light blinds you a little when it pops open b/c its so bright.

Other: Your not going to get a better reading light for less money anywhere else.

Pros: -bright -clip-on -cool to watch it open

Cons: -the price could have been better for just a light

Other: Again, a great light for people who read with little light.It's clip-on so you dont have to hold it or anything,just clip it onto your book or yourself.

Pros: Easy to power on and attach to book. Lamp is really bright with full batteries. Some might consider the movement of opening folding arm neat. Small and light design, but still looks quite nice on surface.

Cons: Light gets powered on maybe a bit too early, when it folds open it lights up the whole room.

Other: A must buy for all nocturnal readers.

Pros: - Light works. Just by pressing the side button, the light unfolds (magically almost) and turns on. The last link (where the actual LED is installed) is adjustable. - Clip is sturdy. It holds well onto books.

Cons: - Could be brighter. The single LED isn't the brightest thing in the world and focuses light only partially on the pages. Thus, this light isn't ideal for larger pages like magazines or newspapers because the light is not spread out enough (not a weakness, but something to look out for).

Other: Overall - a good light that is very inexpensive.

Pros: * Fancy-looking, especially when it folds open * Very bright * Takes common LR44 batteries

Cons: * As another review said, while it folds open it lights up the room * Too thick and chunky to not be in the way while you're using it, especially with paperback books

Other: It's nice to have around, and looks cool, and is cheap, but I'm not sure how often I'll actually use it...

Pros: Cheap, good design, very light.

Cons: The light isn't bright at all. I thought is could be the batteries but after replacing them, the light isn't any brighter.

Other: There are lots of great items at DX but this isn't one of them. IMHO is a total waste of money.

Pros: First Off, they just look so cool, Push The Button, and the Light comes up like one of those old "Flower Growing" films seen in school. It comes up, unfolds, and the light is very useful also

Cons: As with many of my "Ohhh, Isn't that Cool" items within my home, they tend to take 'Little Feet", and end up on my wifes desk, work table, bedside, etc.
When offered as a "Gift", "Oh No, Honey, I don't need one...."

Other: This is one of the "BETTER" designs, because if the 'ON" button is somehow pressed while in a bag, etc., the light will NOT lite up until it is fully extended, which keeeps the batteries from running out prematurely.
AND, if you watch some Sci-Fi movies closely, you will see these OFTEN!!!

Pros: - It works - It has batteries included - It's a fun LED gadget - It has a semi-automatic mechanism - Looks good on pictures
- It comes in a box
- Strong, good looking clip
- Easy fixing (opening)

Cons: - It does't always open to the full extent, many times it opens only to a half and you have to do the rest yourself
- Build quality is pretty bad, cheap plastic that gives a feeling that will break soon
- Not much light from the LED

Other: I will though my future orders of this item through. It has some pros, it has some cons. If I was to rate I would give 2.5/5 score judging on the sample item I received.
