Light-Blue Shell for NDS Lite

Pros: Looks and feels Like the real thing!!! Buy this if you ds is structuraly damaged(Broken hinge)!

Cons: Difficult to put back together....Watch out when placing the new buttons, a small piece of plastic has to be cut off!!!

Pros: Great color. This color is rare for this region. Price is a real bargain for those that need to replace a broken shell.

Cons: I am not sure if my installation is to blame but these are some of my finds:
DS does not close flush.
Power button does not return back to original place.
Only one screen border was available, luckily my original color was white and doesn't look to bad with a white border screen and ice blue shell.
No installation instructions.

Other: Does the trick. Worth the money and once put together and confirmed the DS works properly. It's a work of love, then show it off to your friends.

Pros: cool blue color

Cons: none so far

Other: needed for old looking ndsl

Pros: great shell, makes your ds look different from others.

Cons: horrible quality, i used the trigon / cross screw for my battery case, then BOOM. its stuck on my black ds, therefore i cannot mod it. ( got stuck cuz the battery case screw seems to change shape, the screw is way to weak dragging it to a 1.) pretty hard to use

Other: get it for the fashion or the problems! careful though, its extremely weak.

Pros: My NDS Lite had a broken hinge like alot of people out there. But I couldn't bring it back to Nintendo to get it repaired because it's warranty expired. Didn't want to pay 75 to get it fixed, so I fixed myself! I bought this shell about few weeks ago. It came last week and I changed my shell. it was simple to use and it looks just like the original. The color didn't look off which I REALLY was afraid of but it didn't disappoint me.

Cons: -There was no instructional manual with the shell. Atleast a little map showing which parts is for which area would have been nice.
-The exterior shell isn't like the original with the clear plastic. So after you change, you would have it all in light blue.
-The gap between the two parts in the upper part is slightly big. But doesn't affect anything unless YOU ARE SUPER PICKY.

Other: This is worth buying for it's price. Just be careful not to break your NDS Lite again after you replace the shell.

-I was afraid that the shell might break when it arrive in the mail. But DX used the bubble foam envelop so that gave protection to my shell. This is was nice touch from DX. Thanks.

Pros: - the color blue is quite new for now - stands out

Cons: - OMG! i waste 6 hours doing this no kidding
- you have to be ... REALLY good at fooling around with gadgets because i can say i practically killed my ds
- the quality is REALLY bad its bends and holes are easily made through it
- no installisation instructions but its available on the net
- a bit pricy?

Pros: I was boring og my black NDS Lite. But I won't buy a protection case to change its apperance because it isn´t useful. Didn't want to pay 75 to get it fixed, so I fixed myself! Pros: pretty decent for pricing and just to replace old NDSL that's been covered with scratches. color still very new in america.

Cons: not perfect replacement, top half is a little bent when put together. VERY TIGHT fitting on some of the holes from the mobo to bottom half of case.

Other: it's a good replacement, looks OEM and feels like original cases. only downside is it's not a perfect fit everywhere but overall better than buying from other 3rd party knockoffs. bought a few just to mix and match mine up and fix a few friends cases cuz they like dropping the originals.

Pros: It does the job. Color is nice.

Cons: The shell I recieved is NOT THE SAME as the one advertised here on the site!!! The package says: DS Lite HOUSING.

I've worked with DS Lite shells before and they all came in the package shown here on the site. These shells (package says DS LITE SHELL) are of much better quality then the one I recieved this time.

Also the shell advertised here DOES HAVE the transparant plastic and looks and feels almost exactly like the original. The one I recieved looks nice, but you can immediately see it's a not original.

SO:

- Shell I received is not the one that is advertised
- Feel and build quality not so good and far worse than the one from the advert (I also have these so I can compare!)

Other: The shell does the job, but it's not the same as advertised. The advertised shells (with DS Lite SHELL on the package) are of much better quality.

Dealextreme: PLEASE SHIP THE GOOD ONES NEXT TIME!

Pros: - Feels like the Original Nintendo shell
- Great build quality
- Feels sturdier than my original shell!!
- Japanese printing on the back makes it look like you're totally 1337. (something to show off!)

Cons: - Not easy to change it, if you aren't experienced with this kind of mod
- the original ndsl screws for the top are too long, I got bubbles under the transparent coating, when I screwed them in. :(
- The Volumeslider and the power switch are hard to use, like they were stuck or something
