    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Physically, the dock has a good build quality with a solid metal Lightning connector, a decent heft and a nice, uniform glossy black finish. The phone docks steadily with a good connection. 3.5mm plug adds a lot of support to the gripping of the phone. Included 3.5mm cable acceptable.

    Cons: None. OK, one - the lightning cable doesn't insert fully into the back and leaves a little bit of the metal connector exposed (about 1-2mm) - but it makes a full electrical connection.

    Other: It's a good dock. You should buy it if you want a dock.
