    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: The flat cable design makes it easy to use store and manage this cable The product has good engineering - the plugs fit easily. The price is good for this product and quality of build

    Cons: I found no real negatives at this point. I will update this review in future if there is any change.

    Other: I would purchase this product again and recommend it.

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: This flat ribbon cable with the 8-pin lightning connector seems to be solidly built. There appears to be plenty of material surrounding the interior wires, and the connectors are sturdy and do not appear to be pulled apart from the cable.

    Cons: The flat ribbon cable is a little stiff, and the 8-pin connector does not give a reassuring click when plugged in, like OEM equipment. It's just a snug pressure fit. That said, it works.

    Other: This is, so far, a solid, quality cable that seems to be more durable than some of the flimsier versions.
