Likon 7x18 Monocular

Pros: I bought this for my work, there is a projection screen pretty far from my desk and I need some kinda momocular to view the details on this board.

Cons: eyepiece is very small not big enough for your eye magnification is not strong enough

Other: should of bought the 8x20 version also made by likon from DX

Pros: I use this for watching deer in my fields. Works just fine, compact as well. Comes with a nice little case.

Cons: None

Other: Good item, good price

Pros: Use it at work for observing people and it does it's job. Not a super magnifier, but it gets the job done. I'll also take it with me golfing once the weather in CA clears up

Other: If you need one of these then get it, can't beat the price and it does its job.

Pros: ° Very lightweight plastic-built. ° Comes with nice belt which can be mounted to your belt. ° Also comes with wristband.

° Helps you read distant signs and avoiding taking wrong ways when trekking.

° Extremely cheap, you do not get such products for such a cheap price over here.

° Comes with a german manual -- I thought DX would only ship products with english manuals... but german -- wow :o)

Other: This one is such a lightweight wonder -- I will definitely take it with me whenever I think I might need it to be along with me.

Pros: I think this is really great.
It's magnifes 7 times which is most of the times more then enough for average things.
Don't need to hold big and heavy binoculairs.
This fits in your pocket so take it with you everywhere you go.
Come with a holster, neckstrap, and cleaning cloth, so that's a nice plus.
Easy to twist the lens to get a sharp image.
Great price! Cheapest I've seen which was similar like this one, was 15$

Other: If you ever had a situation you wanted to look at something that was actually a bit to far away, buy this.
You don't have to bother about the price, it's very cheap, and you will regret it one day if you don't buy this thing.

Pros: Small and lightweight enough to be really pocketable.
Good grip on the surface.
Loop for neckband attachment.
Comes with carrying pouch and a cleaning cloth.
Price is low.
Because it's monocular, you don't have worry about allignment problems with cheap binoculars.
Overall quality is good.

Cons: Viewing angle could be better.
Optical quality could be better but it's great for the price.
The box looks "cheap" so if you give it as gift to an adult, consider repacking.
You have close your other eye. Well, it's monocular :)

Other: Recommended for travellers because it's small size.

Pros: It comes with a carrying case, lanyard, and cleaning cloth. The lens focuses well and the 18mm diameter collects a decent amount of light, making it suitable for a variety of purposes.

Cons: The rubber eye piece is a little warped, but does not interfere with the performance at all.

Other: My brother made fun of it for being a Likon, but it works great and comes with a number of accessories that make up for any deficiencies.

Pros: This arrived and I opened the packet and found I had received a much better product than I had expected. It doesn't feel cheap and nasty and, in fact, does a pretty good job.

Cons: It is a little awkward to view and adjust at the same time but not too awkward.
It is a little stiff sliding back in the holster which makes you tap it down without thinking (leaving a fingerprint on the eyepiece lens). Although all the holsters will be slightly different.

Other: Low cost and effective - worth trying out for yourself.

Pros: It is the cheaper monocular available in DealExtreme, and the build quality is very very good.
You can see far away and also the focus is adjustable.
It comes with a recipient where you can put the monocular, very efficient.

Cons: It's very small, so if you have glasses, you will have to take it out so that you can see, but if you want to take it everywhere, that is a positive point.

Other: It's cheap, not professional but you may have a lot of fun with it.
If you want a powerful monocular, don't buy this one, look for something else :)

Pros: The biggest pro is arguably the size. This thing is small enough to fit in jeans pockets without being uncomfortable. At the same time, it still works really well. The price is another pro; at under ten dollars, you really cannot go wrong.

Cons: If you wear glasses like me, it's possible you'll get annoyed with this. With glasses on, your field of vision is cut in half. If you take them off however you're fine. The only problem is your eyesight. It works okay for me, as my prescription isn't very strong. Someone with poor eyesight however may find that they cannot get things into focus.

Other: Need to see far away and don't like lugging around binoculars? Buy this. You won't regret it.
