    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: I've actually seen these in the shops selling for more than $20.00 for the same product. Buying from DX saved me a lot of money staright off the bat. The walkies look cute with the toy story characters on them, and are light enough for the kids to hold.

    Cons: The quailty of the antenna and signal is terrible. the kids can only be in a direct line of sight for them to work and at most 20 meters away which is still close enough to hear them anyway. Would have been better if they were tuned properly or fitted with a higher gain antenna

    Other: Really if you want a walkie talkie for the kids that you don't care if they bust, this is it. But if you want a walkie talkie they can actually use, you may have to spend a bit more.
