Pros: This laser is equal in quality to a beamshot model I also own.
Cons: None really.
Other: If you want an inexpensive sight laser..this is the one! This was my first purchase from Dealextreme. I will definitely do business with them again
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Relatively cheap
- Anodized metal construction
- Constant-on or momentary toggle (wired remote)
- Mount to rail or barrel
- Windage and elevation adjustment with hex wrench
- Uses relatively common battery (CR123A)
- Useful for "snap shots" or shooting from the hip
- Can have intimidation effect of "painting" a target
- "Cool factor" of having a laser mounted on a gun
Cons: The one I received has an off-centered laser. That is, the line projected by the laser is not parallel to the body of the unit. Therefore, when attached to a gun barrel, the laser is not lined up with the path of the bullet. Major "con", in my book.
Also, not really a con, but worth mentioning: if you're going to use a laser with a gun (paintball, airsoft, or other), keep in mind that a red laser is relatively dim when outdoors in the daylight. It might work better indoors, low-light settings, or combined with a scope. Like I said - not really a "con", but something to keep in mind.
Other: It's a decent little unit for around $20 USD. It's nice to have options for mounting and operation. The ability to adjust the laser once mounted is key (to me).
I just can't get over the fact that I can't seem to get it lined up. If I can't get it to line up with the barrel, it's pretty useless as a laser sight. I guess I can still use it to play with cats or something.
If I manage to get it to work (I'm considering disassembling it), I'll post a follow-up review.
Bottom line is: "You get what you paid for." This might just have been a defective unit. I might even be tempted to try buying another one (or something similar). For as cheap as it is, I'd say that it's definitely worth the risk.

Pros: Middle of the road laser for a real good price. Comes with clicky switch as well as pressure switch.
Cons: haven't found it to be adjustable as of yet, however I also havent taken it out to the range to mess with it.
Other: Good price, fairly nice laser, buy one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very good build
I like the box it came in =)
Pressure pad works ok, as well as the on/off switch.
Laser power is very nice. Dont think one would need another one unless you are in SWAT or something.
Cons: Laser vertical and horizontal adjustment feels a little cheap, but works and I could make it point to where i wanted easily.
The rail mount doesnt fit my rifle. Make sure your rail is 17mm wide, since the mount that comes in the kit fits this size. Mine is 11mm.
Other: It was a very good deal. The product is great and fills my needs (phun).
It would be fantastic to have these in a paintball night battle.
I will post photos as soon as I get an adapter (if there is one) for the rail mount.

Pros: 1) Excellent value, particularly when you compare the price of similar kit in the UK for example.
2) Nicely made, well presented and packaged.
Everything you need is included (nearly - see below) including mountsx2 (see also below) and battery.
3) Mounts are solidly made and well finished
4) Pressure switch on straight cable works nicely
5) Alternative on/off button is included to fit to the end of the laser like a torch
Cons: A few niggles, minor for me but might irritate others.
1) I ordered two. One arrived complete, the other missing any allen keys (the complete set had three). Not worth arguing over, but leaves room for doubt as to whether that might be representative.
2) the laser dot is wider than for example that on a laser pointer. A crisper dot would have been welcome
3) there is a secondary dimmer dot projected to one side of the main dot, a couple of inches off. I assume that is an internal reflection from the cover glass, and it is present on both units I ordered. Irritating but no more than that.
4)the main mount is 16mm, not 11mm. That meants it can't be mounted on any of my gun scope rails. The barrel clamp however is well made and works fine.
Other: Would I buy another?
Yep, no hesitation

Pros: Really good price for this kind of item. Nice box and good finish. Fastening bracket fits nicely on my vintage Crosman air rifle. Will work on almost any rifle or pistol. (Or any type of pipe) Always On switch works well when you sets the device. Trimming the dot is made by two screws and a small tool that is included in the set. Battery is also included, and I had my unit mounted, trimmed and ready to use in under 10 minutes after arrival.
Cons: Laser dot is not very sharp. But at distance it really isnt a problem. Wired trigger switch is a but fiddely but works well on the overall.
Other: Good product at a unbeatable price. Buy two and sell one to your friend, and make a nice profit!

Pros: All parts of this laser are made well i thought. The pressure switch is smooth and easy to use. I prefer the on off cap myself. The barrel mount is a good addition to this kit and is an easy fix if the rail mount doesn't fit your gun. Found this laser is great for night shooting and have adapted it to my 22 rife using the barrel mount. I didn't find it difficult to set laser alignment using adjuster screws
Cons: The only issue I had is a second red dot (reflection off the lasers protective cover glass I think) sits a couple of inches from main red dot. Is not a real issue and seem to get used to it after a while
Other: This has made hunting at night a lot more fun. The price for this laser is great. Would I buy another. YES. I could not buy this laser this cheap in my country.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's CHEAP! You are not going to find a laser sight for your gun anwhere this cheap, unless you steal it!
It came with everything, including the battery, alan wrenches to install, and stupid little box to keep everything inside.
Cons: My tail cap (on-off switch) was machined wrong! It won't work at all, which means I have to use the pressure switch. It seems like the totally cut the grooves wrong on the tail cap.
Other: Buy it for some cheap gun. I wouldn't mount this on my side arm, or 30-30, but it works great for BB-Guns, .22's, paintball guns, etc ...
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The laser is very bright, even in sunlight! Very easy to aim in. Comes with mounts for both the barrel and the normal gun mounts! Works with airguns, shotguns, etc.
Cons: The design makes it feel a bit cheap and mine stopped working in the rain. The block color on the laser and the mount easily falls of when mounting it.
Other: This laser has a lot of pros when it comes to the actual shooting. But when it comes to quality there are many improvements to be made!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Really, really easy to use.
Both barrel and rail mounts.
Two types of activation switches.
The supplied allen wrenches semms to be ok quality.
Cons: Could not get the dot adjusted fat enough to one side just with the screws. Had to rotate the whole unit to get the dot just where I wanted. This makes "In field" adjustments really difficult...
Other: The perfect low-cost solution to paintball point-and-shoot! Will definetly buy more to sell over-priced to my jelous buddies!
