  • Happy with this tablet, but wifi could be better

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Lightweight, feels like good build Responsive to touch Good battery life (on Standby, this thing will last probably a full day - haven't tested yet. Actually running programs, been getting minimum 5 hours on it - maybe up to 7). Very smooth running multiple programs at once. Even with "Live Wallpaper" running. Output HDMI to TV, very nice to have. Works great. Screen is bright and colours very clear.

    Cons: WiFi not strongest. My blackberry bold picks up a better signal than this tablet. Battery indicator inaccurate. Goes couple hours showing only 20 percent used, then moderately drops down to 35-40 % (few more hours) then it could burn up in an hour that last 35%. Max volume not that loud. Headphones and it's fine. Can't charge through microusb - only through the power connector (a bit smaller than headphone jack). Would be nice to have adapter so you could power it through a USB port.

    Other: For something to have while watching tv or on a commute, this is pretty awesome. For anyone unfamiliar with android, it doesn't take long to get used to it. And the app store has lots to choose from.
