Pros: A Voltage Tester and screw driver. The display work fine and consider worth the price.
Cons: Display not accurate. Even on DC power, it still show about 55 v - 110v. Wordings in are in Chinese characters.
Other: Use this to test whether is there any electricity on the item and also as a screw driver. The result is not accurate.

Pros: Works fine as electricity tester. Fair quality.
Cons: none
Other: Works fine as electricity tester
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: always handy as a quick check tool, good life saver in dangerous situations
Cons: a little inaccurate, but otherwise good
Other: I always use these tools to check for live wires - never trust anything, I think they are dependable enough
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's useful and cheap.
You can check both AC and DC voltage.
It has a display to show the voltage and doesn't use batteries.
Cons: Not too much accurate.
Other: If you don´t need great accuracy it's useful. Buy it if you're an ocassional electrician. If you need great accuracy buy a multimeter.

Pros: Cheap
Cons: can't tell what the heck the buttons/sensors on it are for
Other: OK it got here - looks OK but has Chinese writing on it by the buttons. You need to touch one of the buttons at the top for it to show a reading BUT which one does what? I jammed the metal end into the eletric plug socket (kids don't try this at home) and nothing happened. Then I discovered you need to touch one of the buttons. Now one of them shows 220v (although we go up to 240v here in the UK) and pressing the other button shows 110 volts?? why? I know the U.S. use 110v for mains supply but why was this showing 110v ?
I suppose if I knew what the buttons said I might understand better. Are there any people here who know what they're on about? and can tell us what and how to use it?

Pros: -- does not needs any batteries for power source
-- line powered, so no worries about power source
-- lcd screen indicates which voltage is detected
Cons: -- lights up all previous voltages upto the current one, this can be very confusing for a regular user who does not know about this, as all the voltages light up and one does not know what the current voltage is.
-- does not have labels in english on the buttons, they are in english
-- i think one button is for Alternate current A/C and second one is for Direct current D/C.
Other: -- you just cannot go wrong with this compared to $$ that a retail store wants for something similar.

Pros: Better than expected. Doesn't use batteries! Has a pocket clip. It can detect energized wires by induction, without having to peel them or touch conductive parts (shows a small lightning bolt on the LCD). So it's probably good to detect the point where a power cord is broken. Writing in the back of the wrapping is in relatively-understandable english! (i took a photo, let's see if they accept it)
Cons: Writing on the screwdriver is in chinese (point deducted from "ease of use") Dumb SKU sticker glued over the english writing on the back of the wrapper. Tried to peel it off, but it also took whatever I was trying to read. Inductive detection of energized wires is not foolproof. You need to fiddle a bit to understand how to use it. Being really picky, I could also complain the LCD is not backlit (probably because it would require internal battery) or at least it should have a small neon lamp for when you're trying to find energized wires in awkward distances and angles.
Other: Bough three units, all came with black buttons. Already gave one away. Definitely useful. I'm satified.

Pros: Reads live power even the wire is sealed, without pealing the protective cover. Works without batteries. Ability to check AC and DC power. Fits in a pocket easily. Very very very cheep product.
Cons: Marking on the screw driver are chinese :(, power from live wire is not exact. the significance of 2 buttons unknown.
Other: Worth for the price
