What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Lower price than local stores (similar Hoya filter kit in local shop 40+ eur)
- Decent image quality (see some photos taken with a +4 filter here: http://mikko.korkalo.fi/gallery/2008_08_20-dxgprs/ )
- Durability! I accidentally dropped the +2 filter to ground from about 1,5 meters, and absolutely nothing happened.
Cons: - I would like to see filters up to +10.
Other: Well build macro filters for a decent price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Good quality
- Nice price
- Nice little bag to keep all the filters in.
- If you are looking for these filters to use once in a while, they will do the work like a charm.
Cons: - If you however are looking for something to use everyday you might consider something more high-end.
- Lens quality is good, but not great.
Really nothing more to say since you get what you buy.
Other: Great filters for your lens. These will the work for you if you are not considering to buy the most expensive ones. I will use these until I feel that I need to work with macro filters, and until then these will be perfect.

Pros: *Price
*it's working, using Olympus E300 on top of 40-150mm lens.
*Build Quality is OK for that price
Cons: *the inner ring (holds the lens inside the outer ring) made of plastic.
*no more Cons...
Other: not for experts, excellent for all of the rest.
pay attention that the field depth is very narrow.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Good Quality on general
- Excelent Packaging for store ( litle portfolio with 3 compartments ) the lens for travel.
- Average quality on twist system
Cons: - Average glass quality
Other: - Good macro set lens for buy if you are not professional
- Good buy if and you don't have much money to expend and you want a good item
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: They really work as a macro lens.
the distance to the opject gets smaller, so you can take close-up photos with your 300mm lens
Cons: the 4x lens got a little air bubble in the glass. I'll upload a photo with it above. this can mess up the pictures. I expected some quallity check from the manufacturer before selling. but that didn't happen I think.
Other: if you get a complete working set there is no problem with it at all. it works great.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good build quality for the lens. The bag is also good.
Cons: Sometimes when I stack more than one filter, they stuck on each other, and removing them sometimes is very difficult.
Other: They do what they are supposed to do, and I am very satisfied with these lens. Based on the quality of these lens I´ve also bought the +8 and +10 macro filters.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - good lens material (not easy to scratch) - metal body - low weight - comes with filther pocket bag - photo image is sharp clear at the center zone - low chromatic aberations (considering the price and comparing to more expensive filters) - no image distorsion (like barrel or other types) - can be stacked one over each other
Cons: - the +2 close-up filter has the lens too thick and because of that the inner thread of the filther has just 1mm depth (you can srew other filther over the +2 with just a maximum 90 degree clockwise rotation) - soft edges of the captured images - +4 close-up lens has a pinhead chip close to the edge (is like a speck of dust, but is not creating any defect of the captured image)
Other: A "must have" for macro photografy, when you don't what to pay the money for the expensive filthers.
