MCU controlled Interface for Mercedes Benz Carsoft 7.4 which is compatible with the original interface.
MB Carsoft 7.4 Interface Multiplexed
• OBD2 connection cable (all K-Lines wired)
• MB 38 pin connection cable (all K-Lines wired)
• MB Sprinter connection cable (all K-Lines wired)
• MB 3 pin banana cable
• RS232 extension cable
Interface contains Multiplexer to connect to all diagnosticable Modules fully automatically.
• Status Led's for Power, MCU and K-Line status
• Aluminium casing
• DB37 connection to vehicle
• Includes ALL cables including even Sprinter cable
• All cables with a length of 1,5 metres

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - Items work just fine. - This kit has a lot of parts, all of them seem to be good quality. - Deposit in a robust bag. - Good quality and indispensable tools if you repair your Mercedes by yourself.

    Cons: - There are no cons. - It works perfect and is incredible cheap. - Genuine serial RS232 essential.

    Other: - Good product for the price. - If you own an Mercedes you should buy it. just in case.

    Pros: Very good price. Incredible case and and all cables may be necessary (see my photos). Made very accurate. Connectors fits perfect. Cleared Airbag error and adjusted kilometers to next service in two minutes. Can test all modules present in the car (see other photos, where SKU 16919 unit is in action). Of course you need to know what you are doing. Read manual carefully.

    Cons: No cons. Maybe one - multiplexer can be smaller size, that's all.

    Other: I think every owner of older A-class MB, or other, must have SKU 16919. This was one and only tool I can full control my "Baby Benz" electronics. SKU 16919 is usable to very wide range of not OBDII Mercedes Benz cars. And is very easy to use it. Must have!!!

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Cheap, Carsoft is easy to use, durable, carrying bag included.

    Cons: Carsoft is very old 7.4, using the mux requires hardware RS232 and doesn't work with an adapter, incompatible with other multiplexed software.

    Other: A very cheap and basic scan tool for Mercedes.
