What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It is a small unit, so you can easily take it to everywhere without effort. It works fine.
There are many situations when a multimeter can help, specially when trying to fix eletric/eletronics. Sometimes it's a very simple thing, but not without a multimenter.
Cons: The black terminal came broken. This made me think that the multimenter was defective. After repairing the black terminal (soldering thw wire to the etal pont) everything worked fine.
Other: I would buy again.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Price, Size, Functionallity and usefullness. Small.
Cons: Cheaply made. Leads tend not stay in. Leads are very short.
Other: Cheap if you need a multimetter becuase you lost yours or if you have a habit of lossing things this one is so cheap it does no matter to much if you loose it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This multimeter is very usefull. It very miniature. Can be carried inside pocket. The Multimeter ranges are quite well selected. It could be better if it had some minor ranges example 1V, 5V. It is quite precised. I have compared it with Fluke Multimeter and results were in between 3%.
Cons: It doesn't messure AC current. No range selection in DC mV or V (bellow 10V) department.
Other: Worth of the money. I use it once per week, just to check short circuit/ open circuit or to check wether there is AC main (230V AC 50Hz) pressent. Notice for USA/CANADA users: I havent tested the device with 60Hz.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Does what it said (except resistance cannot be measured due to no battery included) It can measure DC voltage (10,50,250,1000), AC voltage (10,50,250,1000), resistance (x10,x100,x1000), DC current (0.5mA, 50mA, 500mA). But no AC current. It is small, light.
Cons: No hanger Probe cables are short (30-40cm) Powered by 1 x 1.5V(UM-3) battery and it is NOT included. For me this is a big minus. In my opinion it is overprice
Other: Nothing more.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - it is very small and lightweight. Fits easily on a pocket. - it is cheap but useful. - it has a good response time.
Cons: - voltage measurement of 1.5V batteries or rechargeable ones is not easy, since its smaller scale is just 10V DC. - its probes look easy to break, but up to now they are ok.
Other: It is a nice product, useful for home and/or hobby use in electrical and/or electronic projects. Buy it if you want a simple measurement device.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - it's small so it will fit on any drawer, toolbox, car and even some generous pocket; - easy to read; - Will show fluctuations of the voltage/current measured and thus be more useful than a digital multimeter that takes samples and down not measure continuously.
Cons: - test leads seem flimsy; - short test leads (maybe not a real con...); - no continuity tester (you can use ohmeter instead but it will not buzz); - I hate it when chinese stuff has chinese letters on it :) .
Other: Zero problems, would buy another if needed.
