Pros: First of all the price is very good!
Well DX is cheapest shop on internet for this great servo! In mine country you will pay double and it's excluding shipping costs.
Now about the servo.
The servo has metal gears so it's very usefull for strong aplication e.g. as steering servo for fast rc cars.
I am using the servo as steering servo for mine homemade crawler. Well it's doing his work great, no broken teeth at all!
I like this servo because:
- Metal gears.
- A lot of torgue.
- Speed is o.k.
- Nice bag of parts for the aplication you will need.
Cons: The servo has problem withh centering, but for this price don't complain!
Other: Great servo for great price!
Get this servo, you wouldn't be dissapointed!
So buy it now and be happy when received!

Pros: Brass / Steel gearing right down to the servomotor drive. Standard footprint, useful bag of fittings, standard JR colourway on cable, output shaft splines fit heaps of "after-market" servo accessories, and all after market JR stuff.
Cons: LOTS of BAD REVIEWS on the Internet RC Pages, however I've used these in very high load / vibration / "generally Hostile" applications without any trouble at all. Self centering is a known problem, but provided they are loaded well, this seems to be relatively minor.
Other: This is not a "fit and forget" item, but with absolutely minimal regular maintenance these will provide excellent performance, and reliability. Once they start experiencing MAJOR problems, they are cheap enough to cannibalise for scrap, and replace!

Pros: strong servo. indeed all metal gears. a ball bearing on the output-shaft. not sealed though.
Cons: has a lot of play. better not use it for anything that suffers from much play. gears feel mushy or grinding when turned without power. is not digital as the sticker suggests. (you can hear the difference) tries to correct the gear play by moving against it instead of holding its position. it is a little slow on the start.
Other: I would not buy exactly this tower pro 995 servo again. don't get me wrong, it is not a crappy servo, it hat metal gears, so it may survive heavy abusing in monster trucks and such. and in an application where precision is not required it shines through cheapness and durability.

Pros: cheap servos that works great i have used this for more than 2 months no problem so far so far so good i used it on all my 1;10 drift kits and mini 1;10 kits handles great works great best of all it's cheap
Cons: sounds rough when turning but it is metal geared so it's still acceptable price-wise what you expect from a servo @ this price??
Other: just buy it it works same servo as the ones that cam with the tamiya tt01 kits (hextroniks) just open the case and you'll see "towerpro" label inside

Pros: All metal gears
Very strong, good torque
Cheap
Cons: May overshoot and produce a lot of electrical noise when moving.
I recommend
Other: I'm into hobby robotics and most of the time with a low budget. This is the one I always get when I need a high torque servo and I never regret.
If you need a strong and cheap servo for toys, robots or any project which doesn't have any critical parts and will be under constant monitoring, I recommend these with no second thoughts.

Pros: - High torque - Metal gears - Strong build - Good speed
Cons: - A lot of play and sometimes jitter - A little overshoot sometimes - Few parts for attaching to the application
Other: I've been using these servos for a long time and have owned and used over 20 of them for hobby robotics. They are very good when you need a cheap and strong servo. I'm not into RC models, and word about it in RC forums around is that it's not so reliable. I don't know if that's really the case, but for hobby robotics they are very good.

Pros: Works fine in my crawler project. Fits snug and have good length on the cords.
Cons: For the price i cant see any cons.Iif it breaks down, just get a new one.....By two end have one spare.
Other: Great regulator for the money. Definetly bye another one if i need it. Good for 1-10 RC cars.

Pros: The servo has a fairly strong torque and it's made in metal. As it is not too tiny, it's relatively simple to attach it.
Cons: I notice that in some occasions it is overshooting a little bit, probably because the whole gear system must be quite heavy.
Other: OK to use if you need a generic servo and you are stil on prototyping phase, but you may want to switch to higher class when your project gets more serious

Pros: Well built servo, given the price. I bought these to convert them for continuous rotation to be used in robotics application and it was easy task, took about 5 minutes per servo. The travel limiter is just a simple pin that was easy to remove. Feedback potentiometer is attached with single screw and just slides in to the gear train. All gears are metal and the main output gear is supported by pair of ball bearings. Overall solid build.
Cons: None that I found so far...
Other: I would recommend it for robotics
