What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Faster, strong and accurate than MG995
Good build quality
Quiet and silent servo
Works great
Cons: Maybe could cost a little less... =]
Other: Buy this instead of MG995, pay a little more, but will have a faster, strong and accurate servo
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Strong servo. Moves fast and quick response.
Cons: it has some overshot (when it changes arm position, the arm moves slightly OVER the required position and quickly moves back. If you plan to use on ailerons or elevators, better forget. Heavy.
Other: Its okay but you must be careful if u need precision. it will shake a little at the end of your desired movement.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Really high torque. -Good speed. -Nice finished. -All the accessories needed. -Metal gearbox. -Good Price/Performance.
Cons: -Not as smooth as others (Like hitec/futaba). -If precision needed a calibration must be done (well, in all servos is needed). -I have observed a little jitter, almost imperceptible probably because of the quality of the servo.
Other: This is a very good servo if what you need is torque and not too much precision. The price is just right for the quality of the servo.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Strong, almost excellent precision, lightweight (for me). Nice quality of inner components. Many accessories to play with. Great speed and torque.
Cons: Might be heavy if you plan on using it on an airplane. I've notices some jittering but I corrected it by setting up different angle movements in Arduino source code. It could be cheaper compared to others.
Other: I'm designing my own automatic folding rear mirrors for my car in conjunction with Arduino and this servo was just what I needed in order to move them.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I can recognize a good serv when I see one. This is one. I is well built, with metal gears, and strong enough to move quite heavy stuff. The control is also quite precise. You can really set it to a given angle and it'll stay there. Having a servo with all the gears and all like this one makes it really easy for DIYers who don't want to build complex mechanical systems.
Cons: Not for use in RC planes. Too heavy.
Other: Love it. It delivers everything it promises, which is what I want in any product I buy.
