    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Works really well and the picture quality is very good.

    Cons: For some reason Netflix's subtitles did not show on the tv, but they showed on the phone's own screen. That is most likely related to Netflix rather than this adapter. Requires a charger cable to be plugged in the micro-usb slot in order to function.

    Other: Extremely affordable adapter considering the Samsung's own device costs roughly 80 dollars. I recommend this.

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: The adapter allows you to see your video or streaming content like Youtube from my Samsung Galaxy S3 directly on TV screen in full HD resolution. Very easy to connect and great picture quality. The adapter get power from separate USB source and not from the phone.

    Cons: The external power source is used only for adapter and can't recharge the phone during the playing video on TV. Since the phone screen and CPU are also working, the phone battery is discharging very fast and there is no way to recharge it - USB connector is busy.

    Other: Very nice feature that I use regularly.
