Microwave Potato Chips Maker with Slicer Complete Set

Pros: -Very fun
-It actually works. With my micro wave it needed longer to cook, but the chips turned out eatable! Experimenting with spices and such now
-Cheap

Cons: -Its still not perfect potato chips
-The cutter cut a bit thick, though thats relative i guess
-The chips expand sometimes (airbubbles) and can be hard to get out of the holder

Other: Fun. Works. If youre curious like i was, buy one

Pros: I just made my first portion of potato chips, and was actually surprised of how good they were!! Yeah, I oversalted them in my attept of making salt n' vinegar (we cant by those "chips made in heaven" here in Denmark) so Im pretty thirsty right now!!
I believe that the slices are just the perfect size!

Cons: Well..none really. The instruction is Chinese, but it is pretty easy to guess what the numbers stand for! :)

Other: I though it to be a bit in the expensive end of silly items sold here, but this actually works is is worth every dime and more!! 5 stars from me!!

Pros: I bought this thinking, hey if it doesn't work its just a cheap thing, I was WRONG! its great, it makes delicious chips, you can cut them thinly or thickly with the slicer provided

Cons: I nearly cut my fingers on my blade before I realized there was a thing to hold the potatoes safely, so basically no cons :)

Other: Bottomline, this is a great product, I'm trying it with salt now :) I hope it tastes good, just note, it took me 6 minutes to cook mine, in this order

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do.
Easy to clean.
Nice build quality.

Cons: Fully Chinese manual, but with the pictures it's easy to guess what to do.
The 'holding' aid for the potato doesn't stick to the potato correctly, so that's why it has a 4 star rating in ease-of-use.
Not that you need the holder though, because when the potato has gotten so small you can't hold it anymore in fear of cutting your hand, you shouldn't be cutting anymore because the chips will be too small anyway.

Other: Easy to use, great product.
Now I have to think up nice tastes for my chips...!

-the price is right

Cons: -time consuming
-takes a long time to cook
-hard to "flavor"

Other: i found that sometimes the chips swell up on the bottom and its hard to get them out. and its hard to flavor them, whatever you put on it drips down on the plate as its cooking, and after its cooked nothing will stick to it. also it takes at least 10 min to cook, and the rack only holds like half a small bag of chips(one small potato). so it takes a llooooong time just to make a decent snack. i imagine the electricity used costs more than a store bought bag of chips. wasting electricity is bad for the environment. also, one time i accidentally left them in too long and the plastic started to melt, so remember to watch them carefully kids.

Pros: * Easy to use.
* All-in-one solution.
* Quick fresh nice tasting chips.
* Other possibilities like apple chips, * strawberry chips makes this product extra nice.
* Just enough for 1 serving.
* Handy storage, not too big.

Cons: * I don't like the yellow color.
* There is a sticker on the slicing knife which is hard to remove, some glue stays on the knife for a long time, which you don't want to have in your potato chips.
* Instructions only in Chinese.

Other: Very nice product, I like it and it's easy to use. Never had zero added fat potato chips before and they taste real nice!
Smaller potatoes work best as real big ones will end up like sauteed potatoes and are not so crunchy at all.
Use crumbly potatoes if possible.

Pros: Was surprised that it actually worked as stated. Easy to use, and didn't need the instruction to use it as it is just common sense. No need to use fats or oils, surprised that they don't mass manufacture using same principle as would make chips a healthier snack.

Cons: Would be better if the bowl/slicer were bigger and instead of a circular holder for the chips if it came with a larger square holder a bit bigger to do more chips at the same time and easier to get them out.

Other: Have ordered a few of these for gifts for friends and everyone loved them.

Pros: - Easy to set up.
- You can use any spices to make you're own weird tasting potatochips.
- Easy to use (slicing the potatos)
- Good portions of chips each time.

Cons: - The glue from sticker that protects the slicingblade is really hard to remove.
- Instructions only in chinese

Other: Really good product for the price you pay, I use it when I want some snacks, or when I have a visitor.

Pros: - Complete kit, comes with a carousel, a small bowl, a nice cutting tool and a plastic part to hold the potato (or any other veggie you want) without slicing your beautiful fingers.
- Cutting the veggies is extremely fast.
- IT WORKS ! Tested and approved with potatoes and apples.
- Makes real chips, and more tasty than commercial ones.

Cons: - The kit is OK for a fun test, but not for an intensive use. The problem is when you discover it actually works, you want to use it intensively, making quickly pounds of chips. But the kit is really to small : the carousel can't handle a single potato.
- Don't let it for too long in your microwave. I let it more than 5 minutes and my chips became really dark. The problem is that the carousel plastic begun to burn, letting a terrible chemical taste on the chips... So the big bad point is that the carousel can't stand elevated temperatures !

Other: Had good time testing it with my parents.
Be warned about the fact that the carousel is not made with a plastic that can undergo high temperatures.
Here, for potatoes, It takes ~4 minutes at 850W (less when you make a 2nd batch, as the microwave is already hot and full of vapor)

Pros: DELICIOUS OIL FREE AND FAT FREE POTATO CHIPS! Very easy to use. Just slice and microwave! Includes everything you need in this easy to use slicing and cooking kit!

Cons: Could be a little bigger! Hard to season the chips.

Other: I'm going to buy another! I love this thing so much that I'm afraid I might wear it out.
