Microwave Potato Chips Maker with Slicer Complete Set - Large

Pros: The build quality seems to be very good. The tray to hold the slices is from a sturdy molded plastic. The slicer is VERY sharp.

Cons: No English on the box anywhere. I don't know if there are instructions in Chinese on the box but definitely no English instructions. Of course no instructions are needed on how to slice a potato and place the slices in the slots, but it would be nice to have a guide on microwave cooking times such as recommended times and wattage settings.

Other: I know people have gotten excellent results with the smaller version and I'm sure this one will too once I figure out exactly how long they need to cook. I still feel this is a product worth buying. But the results are going to vary due to all the different makes of microwaves and their cooking tendencies.

Pros: Very easy to use. Makes delicious crunchy chips. No need to peel the potatoes first, just scrub them clean. Everything you need is included.
Great chips! Sturdy and good for dips. Fat-free and no preservatives. You know exactly what you've added.

Cons: None yet. Maybe the slicer. It was a bit awkward for me to use.

Other: Get one or a couple of these and get your kids and friends involved in the fun, much like making cookies.

I tried it out yesterday and it only took 4 minutes in my microwave to get crispy ketchup flavoured, no fat/oil chips!! The plastic of the rack seems to be amazing quality and the slicer provided is very sharp so parental supervision is necessary for children but sharpness = nicely thinned slices of chips!!!

Cons: This could be a tad cheaper...
But its still worth is for the ability to create fresh and no fat/oil chips! And you get to chose whatever flavour you want!

Other: If you care about your health like I do, get it! Perfect for midnight snacking and you have no chips at home!

Pros: It's fun to use actually. It comes with it's own cutter for your potatoes, to make it the perfect size for your chips. The quality of plastic feels actually pretty good, after a couple of uses in the microwave. It makes a lot of chips, and it actually makes my chips crispy, with different kinds of mixes.

Cons: The price for this is the only con, they might want to drop it, to make it more appealing to more people.

Other: Overall, I would recommend this because, it's fun,useful when you don't have chips, and if your bored. If your listed in one of the above, then get this.

Pros: make your own healthy chips, get the kids to eat some vegetables. has 4 hearts (i duno y hearts) for holding sauces which is cool. i would buy this one over the other chip maker (i have both) cause this one makes twice as many chips so u dont have to keep getting up and making more every 2 mins.

Cons: it does take a little more work than just buying a packet of chip, but this way u know wat ur eating, u can make any flavour u want and u dont have to go to the shops to get them.

Other: great for all ages, not that expensive and makes good chips

Pros: - Amazingly good product ! - you can get not just potato chips, but apple chips, banana chips. - Chips without oil and crispy, really fast ! - very sharp slicer (take care of your fingers)

Cons: - The space between the each place in the product could me smaller. It could hep to keep the chip stood up and we could get more chips at a same time. - No english instructions - Could be a bit cheaper

Pros: Blade on the potato slicer is very sharp and makes slicing potatoes very easy. Healthy-can control the amount of oil, salt, flavor you put in each batch.

Cons: Can't make a lot of chips at one time. Takes about 6 minutes to make the potatoes crispy but depends how you like it-so watch the microwave.

Other: I am literally a chip addict and now I have a way to make my own chips and control my own flavors. I just wish it didn't take so long.

Pros: Good build quality. You should act really change if you want to break it or something. It took some time to get the perfect potatoes. You can make a lot of combinations. Salt, pepper, both, paprika. Also the slicer is very, very sharp and easy of use.

Cons: Way too expensive. A lot of work flavour it all, you have to stay at the microwave to check if they don't burn. Also it always happens that a few chips are burned, a few a good and a few are still wet.

Other: It's fun for a few days, but after it you won't use it anymore I think.
