Pros: I dont know to write 500 character for a simple ruler, but i'll try
+It allows to make very accurate lines
+it has not started to oxidize
+metric system and inches(dont know the name of it)
Cons: -Very sharp, you can may use it as a knife or at least as a weapon. (can scratch wood etc...) If you throw it and anyone want to catch it can make you bleeding.
Other: Great, need to reach 500 character limit blabla, blabla great ruler
( i know this isnt allowed, but i dont know what to write)

Pros: - Great price for a precision ruler.
- Includes both metric and imperial markings
- Resolution to 0.5mm for the first 5cm, 1mm thereafter
- 1/2 inch worth of precision markings on the imperial side - 50th and 64th's of an inch.
- Durable steel.
Cons: - A little bent. Not sure if that's from the mail or not.
- Difficult to remove from the sleeve the first time due to friction/suction
- Only 15.5cm, but there is a longer sku available.
Other: - If you need a metal ruler with precision markings, this is the one to get.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - excellent materials used throughout
- markings are engraved, then filled with ink, just like the most expensive ones.
- Really stainless steel.
- Not too thin.
- about 1 mm thick, makes it pretty strong.
- you can use it as a steel straightedge to cut along with your craft knife, as well as a measuring stick.
Cons: - Uh, only 15 cm? But if you need something longer, you wouldn't be looking at this one.
Other: Possibly the best-quality and certainly the best-value item I've purchased from Dealextreme.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It is a very cheap ruler and for the price you cant go wrong. All measurements are accurate which I was actually worried about when I bought this item, based on the price, I didn't think it would be. I am very happy with this item. -Cheap -Accurate -Clean -Very professional looking ruler.
Cons: I found that the item is stated as being 'stainless steel'. Stainless steel isn't magnetic and I picked this up with the tip of a screwdriver. So it is very poor quality stainless or not stainless.
Other: good

Pros: I was worried that the measuremens was all wrong, but they are 100% correct!
Build quaily is great, except the sharp edges.
Price is great! Where I live a plastic ruler costs twice as much at this one!
15 cm - great to have at school. Fits perfectly in the "pencil-bag".
Cons: - Sharp edges - This thing has really sharp edges and I think that is a problem! Kids may use this.
Other: This is the best ruler I have ever bought. Now I never have to buy all those plastic rulers which just breaks all the time :)
I still think the sharp edges is a problem tho.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Well made, the markings are etched into the surface of the ruler and are nice and black so can be read easily with the eye. Has a good weighty feel, actually weighs 20g. Nice and stiff to use, does not bend under its own weight and gives a nice stiff edge to cut against. Fits in the pocket! Works great as a paper cutter as well, just put over paper and tear up using edge of ruler.
Cons: Edges are a little sharp but I am hoping that they will soften with use and this ruler will get some use! No calibration certificate for this price.
Other: Does exactly what it says on the tin! Top buy for engineers, hobbeists, mechanics etc. VERY VERY useful!

Pros: - Good price (could be better, but it's still cheap)
- Has both cm and inches scales
- Up to 0.05 mm precision in the cm side; 1/64 in on the inch side
- Made of stainless steel (or so it says).
- Comes with a red, plastic protective wrapping bag (quality is not very good, but it's better than nothing).
Cons: 2 out of the 4 corners (the ones on the left, at the zero marking) are very sharp, be careful.
Only these 2 corners are dangerously sharp; the ruler edges and the other 2 corners are not.
Other: Good one, if you need a ruler of this length, buy it.

Pros: -- excellent materials used throughout
-- markings are engraved, then filled with black ink, just like the most expensive ones.
- Really stainless steel.
- Not too thin.
- about 1 mm thick, makes it pretty strong.
- you can use it as a steel straightedge to cut along with your craft knife, as well as a measuring stick.
Cons: Its very small, but it does not have to be a con, sometimes a small ruler is better. You can easily carry it around and use even at school, beats the usual plastic rulers.
Edges are a bit sharp
Other: Buy it, you wont regret it
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: High quality, seems to be stainless since magnet will not grab hold. Good tolerance. Both mm and inch scale is a bonus. Good for using when cutting something.
Cons: Too short for many purposes. quite sharp around edges, not maybe as "finished" as some brand name products.
Other: For the price this is bargain, I just wish there was a longer version. Then I would buy that also :-) Nothing more to say.
