Mini 1.3 Mega Pixels DV/Camera + USB 2.0 Webcam with Microphone (TF Card Slot)

Pros: All in all this camera is a great multipurpose cam. You can use it to film events where a normal camera is prohibited. Works great as a webcam for all you VLOGGERS out there. The quality is really decent and can be seen on my youtube channel @ www.youtube.com/skavaen

Cons: The included manual was in chinese therefore I basically had to play with the camera until I figured out how it worked. Other then that, I have no cons.

Other: I recommend this for anyone into offroading, skiing or any sport for that matter except for water sports as this camera would probably break pretty fast if it were to get wet.

Other: Works perfect for what I wanted and the price can't be beat. I posted a video of it strapped to the front of my HPI Blitz.

Pros: Small, compact, easily mount and clip to anywhere you wanted. Ultimate easy to mount. It's good for projects on bicycles and remote "motor" transports, especially planes and helicopter, it would seems to be very good to be viewing that "scenery" with your helicopter carrying your video camera. It's so light that you might not know you drop it.

Cons: mount not "steady" to withstand speed of 150km/h on a motor bike. Will "start" to show signs it's flying off. *mine has problems, camera abit "left" put straight not straight. 30min of video taking and snap.. the battery is gone. totally power off.

Other: It's great product to be recommended to all works of life.

Pros: - Very good video quality. - Sharp picture. - Very little motion blur (in good lighting/broad day light). - Microphone is adequate and records bass frequencies well. - Auto exposure works well when going from light to dark environments. - The clip holder is handy and works well. - Li-ion battery included (rechange with USB).

Cons: - Operation can be difficult because it's hard to know what mode it's in. - The manual and software is crap, but sufficient. - Viewing angle approx. 67 degrees (a bit narrow). - The 'arm' mount comes lose easily. - Video file size is large. - Audio has slight noise, but not bad. - No microSD supplied.

Other: This camera is much better than I thought it would be. I am happy to recommend it due to it's very reasonable price and the very good video quality. I mostly use it in my car by clipping it to the sun visor pointing out the windscreen and it's does a great job at that. It would be great for a track day or to record a car accident for insurance! The quality is good enought to read car registration plates and street signs. I imagine this would also make a good spy camera if built into a bag or something covert. Would be good for novice reporters on a sting operation! haha

Other: Notthing else.

Pros: - It films at an excelent quality, if provided a quality MicroSD. Very few dropped frames, and the sound has enough quality so as human speech is easily understandable (unlike the 4GB spy pen). - Has decent image stabilization, unlike other spy cameras or micro cameras. - It doesn't fell so cheap as the other mini-cameras here on DX. - The battery is replaceable.

Cons: - The time/date is reset if it is turned off through the physical swich... I discovered this much later, and it forces me to wait it turn off by itself due to inactivity on standby, otherwise I lose my time and date. - It's a little bigger than other micro cameras, so it may be harder to conceal it on clothes. - As it has 4 modes (motion detection recording, normal recording, photo shooting and voice recording), it might be a little tricky choosing the appropiate mode, as the camera has a single MODE buttom, being necessary to "count" how many times we press said buttom to keep track of which mode we're in.

Other: It is a great product, that produces very good image quality... I recommed for all those who prioritize quality over price.

Pros: Out of the box the first thing I noticed was how light this is. It is about the size of a matchbox and very light - a few grams. It does not look cheap and the bracket/clip fits neatly and does a good job of holding it.
The video is pretty good quality, exceptional for the price really.
Copying the video off was no drama, it just appears as a removable drive on the Mac

Cons: There is no micro SD card included, so make sure you have one or order one. It needs to be a reasonable size as the video is not compressed.
Although the picture quality is good for the price range, don't expect too much from it in poor light. A dimly lit room at night is no good at all.
From what I can find on the 'net, it is not possible to turn the date/time stamp off. Setting the time requires editing a text file and leaving it in the root directory.
The manual was hard going to read with the chinglish and tiny font size. Google "MINI DV D005 manual" and you will find the PDF in which you will at least be able to see the words.

Other: I was looking for a camera to record small rocket flights and this looks like it will do that job nicely.
Some people are annoyed that the date/time stamp can't be turned off, it's not a problem for me.
For the money, this is an excellent little camera. It might not be as tough as the $200 sport cameras, but at this price you can afford to smash a couple.

Pros: Video quality is not as bad as I expected. A convenient case shape for certain applicable. The camera used a standard chip SPCA1528, which could potentially provide very high quality. High quality of housing and mounting. The standard interface for charging via USB. Good sound.

Cons: It is very likely that this 0.3 Pixel camera, not 2 Mp, because parse the fine details even in good light is very difficult.
Very high bit rate stream, because compression is used MJPG. This is a disadvantage.
Unstable operation via USB as a card reader.
Poor quality video in low light.
Not very convenient one-button operation. You can not disable the display of the date on the screen.

Other: I had a bad start, but once overcome the problems I'm happy with the product.

Pros: The image is very good and very clear. The sound also is good in interiors.
The best is the price. I use it in my car to record routes.

Cons: Don't compress the video. 4 gigas = 60 mins of record.
I can't remove the date and I can't sincronyze with my computer.

Other: In one month the cam was in my house and I try it in my car, and my bicycle.
