    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Great little microphone with good (and sensitive) pickup sound quality. Small and does not stick out very much from laptop input... ...do not worry about accidental bumping and breakage. Just as described, I am satisfied as it is what I was looking for.

    Cons: Microphone is LIVE as soon as you plug it in... ...even though you are not recording anything, or video conferencing, or web camming... microphone is LIVE the moment you boot your computer, and will emit through surround sound or speakers you have attached. Maybe there is some kind of setting I can correct this, but I can't find it... and it's not that big of a problem.

    Other: Nice device at a small price.
