Mini 60X Microscope with 2-LED Illumination + Currency Detecting UV Light (3*LR1130)

Pros: When I ordered this microscope I thought it had to be toy quality. I was wrong. This microscope freaked me out the first time I turned on the lights and used it! The area I was able to see was very wide and SUPER CLEAR! The eyepiece you look through is large and gives unbelievable clarity. This microscope has a push-pull focus that slides smoothly with perfect resistance.

Cons: The battery and light holder that is attached to the microscope is not of the same build quality as the microscope itself. It is plastic and can have poor contact with batteries. As well as this thing works however, That's quite forgivable at this price.

Other: If you are a cop, doctor, or in some other profession were a small microscope could be handy, you should have one. The microscope is metal and has a good feel to it. At this price you can afford to have one just because you want it to play with. (or your children)

Pros: - Fun to play with: I bought this to look at my plants, but I've been using it to look at random stuff as well. Your skin, a table, printed paper or you tv. You name it and it looks much more interesting in close-up.
- Lens is very good: yes, it's not perfect (objects not in the center can get blurry), but what do you expect for this price? Objects in the center of the lens are displayed very nicely and that's good enough.
- Build quality of the microscope: It's metal and it has a plastic ring around the lens itself, which helps you focus on the object and makes it a lot harder to damage the lens.
- The LED's are very bright, although you won't need them in a well-lit area.
- Pouch: Simple but very effective at protecting your microscope, so the lens doesn't get scratched.
- Cheap!

Cons: - Build quality of LED-holder: it's plastic and feels a bit cheap. It can be rotated a tiny bit but you have to use quite some force.

Other: It's a great cheap toy, much better quality than you would expect for this price. Kids will probably love it, so make sure to get them one! And then get one for yourself as well, since it's great for non-kids too.

Pros: this small microscope is really good to have a closer look into the small areas - such as maps, drawing, etc
very good UV light to check banknotes
white light is strong too
pouch is usefull too

Cons: from the very beggining i can not turn the battery holder at all - it is plastic and stuck.
do not know if i will be able to change the battery

Other: i like it

Pros: This is small and lightweight and comes with a small protective pouch. The clarity is excellent, not sure on the exact magnification ratio but this is perfect for everything I use it for - Finding broken solder joints on circuit boards, Checking print quality of photocopiers... The lights are a must

Cons: The spring in the battery compartment wasn't screwed in tight, fixed no problem just with a screwdriver though Other than that, no cons at all for me :)

Other: All round great product

Pros: - very good magnification - clear image - practical and easy to use - led light strong enough - batteries included

Cons: - the quality is as what you might expect for this price, even a bit better, but if you need this item for constant use, it probably won't last very long. - if you care about the UV light feature, then it's a con as well, as the UV light is very weak.

Other: A practical and cool item for a great price.
