Mini Digital InfraRed Thermometer with Laser Sight (-50'~260'C/-58'F~500'F)

Pros: Good sturdy build. This device is well built and looks very professional. It is also very compact and fits very well in one hand.

Cons: The laser light is actually an LED light and cannot be used to pinpoint the measuring point. Having said that, it is not totally useless as it can be used to illuminate dark areas (like a flashlight).I wish they would correct the description in the page though. There is also no instruction manual.

Other: Overall, this device is fairly valued for the price you pay, i.e., not cheap but also not expensive for the utility that it provides.

Pros: Don't expected that will be really so small, can be compared to computer mouse in size. Very handy and good build quality. Shipped with batteries. Good instruction.

Cons: Declared accuracy is 2% or 2 deg. However didn't noticed that during measuring. Results are comparable ith another professional thermometer. Distance Spot Ratio is 2:1, so reasonable measurement distance 20 - 130 mm. However at minimal distance spot diameter is only 10 mm, compared to 30 mm for more large thermometers.
Doesn't have laser beam, just simple white led. However light spot from it is very close to measurement spot, so you have both light and indication of measurment spot.

Other: Nice to have this gadget

Pros: Smallest infrared thermometer available, very pocketable. Accurate, and not too expensive. Uses replaceable AAA batteries. Hard to say much about a device that works quite well.

Cons: Gets a bit wonky when it runs low on batteries. Requires a screwdriver to change batteries. Came with an ugly colored orange lanyard. I took it off and replaced it with a black one. Has a decent range, but not high enough to check oil temperatures when frying, or oven temperatures when baking or roasting. Doesn't have an actual laser, has a white LED instead.

Other: It's a good buy, I'm quite satisfied with it.

Cons: Very hard to configure to Fahrenheit. Also hard to change batteries. Does not come with instructions

Other: Great product. All kinds of fun. If you go around the supermarket with a clipboard and this, testing the fridges, you get a lot of looks. Fun.

Pros: I bought thsi a few months ago and it workes great, although it is a bit to pricy for my liking. Juast push the button and measure temperature everywhere. I bought 5 pairs and they all showed exxactly the same temperature, although I do not know if it is calibrated right.

Cons: One of them had batteries wrong plugged in, but when they were properly installed it worked fine as well, otherwise maybee a bit to expensive compared to similar products at home.

Other: Does its job well but a bit pricy compared to similar products at home.

Pros: Build quality is great. Looks and feels solid. Fast reading. has built-in light, uses AAA batteries

Cons: Temperature readings don't seem true. Very sensitive to the distance you are measuring from. It draws the current even when it off. Maybe mine is broken. I went through 2 batteries packs in one day!!!!.

Other: I have another reader that cost 45$ I bought from the other place withc the laser - it does 100% true reading 2-4 meters away from the object. SO I guess you get what you pad for.

* Compact design, fits in pocket
* Solid enough design. Feels if it could take a drop

Cons: * Accuracy is really no reliable
* Take time to recover measuring extreme ranges.
* LED light has no real usage, to dim to use in daylight

Other: I was really surprised by the compact design of this item. Also the price is low enough to overlook the cons.

Pros: Just works. Measures temp of everything.
I thought it would be bigger =) The accuracy is fine, seems like 2% is true.

Cons: Needs a very small screwdriver to change batteries. So I had some troubles changing it, 'cause one battery slipped off its place during transportation.

Other: Well, just a fine product. Though, could be a little cheaper.

Pros: Nice compact design. Solid in feel but lightweight. Very useful for work in a powerplant. Accuracy is more than enough for this price. For in the pocket it is very useful and very easy to use.

Cons: Aimingbeam did not work at arrival of product. Batterychange must be done with a screwdriver. Responstime is sometimes a bit long but most of the time acceptable.

Other: A definitve musthave if you want a good estimate of a temperature. Ideal for in factories and very easy to use. For this price a good product.

Pros: Good material and build, very handy. Measurements seem to be OK (compared it to other IR thermometers). Screen backlight and LED sight makes it possible to use in complete darkness. Grip is very stable due to soft plastic body. English and Chinese manual and an orange wrist strap are included.

Cons: LED sight is just a small auxiliary light, not helpful as a pointer.

Other: Nice gadget, practical, reliable, good quality.
