Pros: + The Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter lets you connect an digital monitor with a mini DisplayPort + Support DVI highest video resolution 1080p
Cons: None. Really none what so ever. This really was not CHEAP as hell, but it was not REALLY expencive eighter.
Other: I really cannot think of any. When product works then it works and there is really no need to write novel about it. Or is there?

Pros: Looking to connect any display that is +23" to your Mac via DVI and need to support 1080? This adapter is inexpensive compared to the dual link adapter from Apple (approx. $100) and the standard mini display to DVI adapter doesn't support HD. Set up is plug and play so you don't need to know anything about computers to make the parts fit in correctly.
Cons: None - it just works well.
Other: Great deal!

Pros: This is a very good adapter, it's way cheaper than the apple one and it really works well, no image noise, no bad contacts. it well built.
Cons: don't buy this if you want to use it with a VGA adapter. DVI has several standards, one is DVI which is only digital and another is DVI-i which is both digital and analog at the same time (it uses some unised pins on the DVI plug) you can use VGA adapters on the graphic board's DVI-I but this adapter is only digital DVI, those adapter will not work at all.
Other: it's a good deal :) buy it if you need it

Pros: This is a great adapter, but the max resolution is 1920x1200 which should be fine for any 24" monitor or lower that uses DVI.
Cons: If you've got a 30" monitor such as the apple 30" that does 2560x1600, you'll need to by the real Dual Link mini displayport from Apple as this one will not push that kind of resolution.
Other: If you've got a monitor that has a max res. of 1920x1200 this is the perfect adapter for you.

Pros: At first I had a loose connection but after I modified it, it worked.
Cons: There is only one problem with this an I had to modify it a little. The DVI Plug does not go in the howl way. Which means, that the female plug is a little to much lowered inside the adapter.
I just cutted a little of the plastic around the DVI female plug that the male plug can get further in.
Now it works great!
Other: Buy it if you wand a cheap adapter an when you can life with a little modification you have to do. Maybe other male plugs work better. I don't know.

Pros: -This works like the Apple branded one, but costs about half as much.
-Works with all Apple devices that sport the new mini displayport
- lets you use your macbook/mac mini/imac with any monitor that uses DVI Monitors,TVs and everything else.
-Lets you use DVI Displays if you plug in a DVI to HDMI Adapter like SKU 8308
-Supports high resolutions (i`m using it with a 1920x1080 analogue monitor)
-It`s white
Cons: - build quality isn`t as good as the Apple one
- The cable seems a bit stiff for my liking and could be longer.
Other: Buy it if you need it, works just as good as the Apple adapter.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap compared to the original.
Does it's job as it's supposed to, and feels quite well built.
Not as sturdy as the Apple original, but it hasn't fallen apart in a year.
Cons: The plastic feels a bit hollow, but it hasn't fallen apart or cracked yet, I've used it for a year. The DVI side had a small deformation in the plastic, but it didn't affect the use of the product.
Other: A good MiniDP->DVI adapter.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Works as expected for few months already
Cons: - When I connected the cable for the first time, the screen went off on the secondary screen. After reconnecting, everything was good again and have never observed the problem again - Plastic seems a bit cheap, but except for that there are no other build quality issues
Other: A pretty solid Mini DP to DVI adabter
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: An inexpensive alternative to the original version that gets the job done nicely at the right price. The DVI connection is a snug fit, but I like that because it means it will be less likely to unplug accidentally.
Cons: As stated previously, build quality is not the best. It seems very lightweight and not too sturdy.
Other: As with most DX products, price the main attractive feature. Although it doesn't feel sturdy, with careful use I expect it will last as long as I have both the monitor and the computer.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Same quality and color as the original.
Works as expected.
There are no loss of image quality, even in higher resolutions.
Easy to use, don't need any configuration.
Cons: Dont came with apple logo. :-)
Other than that it doesn't have any cons.
Other: If you have an mac and want to use your old PC monitor with DVI plug, its the best choice for you.
