Pros: - very good quality for the price - looks exactly like the picture - comes in good packaging, not cheap looking - works perfectly find - no known affect on picture quality
Cons: - had to adjust it a little when plugged in - once it's working, it will have a stable output - not much cons that i know of now
Other: - buy this if you have a mac, i used a regular white macbook with a quite old LCD monitor and it works! not bad for the price, if i go out to get one, it will be over $20 for sure.

Pros: Beautiful, feels solid, looks and feels just like the original Apple item. Identical down to details, you will not look like a cheapo. Even has the ‘Designed by Apple in California, Assembled in China’ saying printed in the cable, only a little bit effaced. Has the standard connector icons. No Apple logo. :-)
Cons: Plastic seams — but this is not an item one handles much, nor subject to stress, so it is not an issue at all. No Apple logo. :-)
Other: Get it.

Pros: Nice quality of build. Is the same quality form the original cable, i compare it. And the cable is more large than the original one :) It work nice, without any problemen or issue. Online connect and the MacOsx detect the output by itself.
Cons: It got NO cons. It works, cheap, and got nice buildquality
Other: Got nice termination, got top protection fro the connectors (preventing dust).

Pros: -As ever with the mighty Deal extreme, fantastic price for great quality of product. -Genuine Apple product (I think). The side of the cable reads "Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China" -Exactly the same as the £15 one direct from Apple. -Great picture quality. -Excellent build quality.
Cons: -Pretty short cable, so it is easy to pull it out of the MacBook with a little effort.
Other: -Personally, I don't think the mini-DVI connection is very suitable for a MacBook etc as it is too easy to pull out by accident, but it is well made for what it is... Buy it.

Pros: Cheap, genuine looking miniDVI to VGA adapter. Looks exactly like one that Apple makes. Only difference i could notice is that this one has gray cable instead of white. So without close inspection you couldn't tell this one isn't OEM. Excellent video quality. Honestly, I couldn't see any difference between using DVI and VGA. And my DVI adapter is genuine.
Cons: I can confirm that it plugs very tightly into the miniDVI socket of my MacBook, sometimes even making my worried that I could damage the socket or PCB.
Other: Cheap miniDVI to VGA adapter for your MacBook, does its job very nice and despite its tight-plugging still is better deal than getting one from Apple.

Pros: Great product, looks like the genuin apple one-even got the "Designed by Apple" written on it. The picture quality is very good. Easy to work with.
Cons: I think that the price is a bit high. Comes in a cheap plastic bag, which look's really lame...
Other: Get it now-it will do the trick. The perfect solution for the Macbook!!!

Pros: Price is good. It worked quickly, right out of the pack. (It comes in an antistatic package! Good!) Build Quality is OK. Looks a lot like the original.
Cons: None found yet (more than 6 months of use). Maybe the Build Quality could be better, but hey, less than 8 bucks!
Other: Buy it if you need a cheap DVI-VGA a-lot-like-an-apple-product
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Worked straight way and flawlessly. Great build quality; feels solid enough. Is stamped as being an official Apple product and even comes with plastic covers for the port and plug. Only a fraction of the cost of an Apple cable; about 20% of the cost here.
Cons: None I have found yet. Apart from it being unnecessary and Apple should just include standard ports on their products!
Other: Buy it if you need it, just make sure this is the correct version of the cable for the Macbook that you have; they aren't all Mini-DVI!

Pros: Just works on my Black Macbook (mid 2007) ! Nothing else to be said about it!
Cons: Tinsy bit a bad build quality, one of the plastic rings was already loose when I unpacked it. Looks a knock-off, no designed by Apple in California or anything of that matter written on the cable.
Other: Order it, if you want 1 (even if you dont need them, they are always handy) .. It a lot cheaper then the official (20 euros) vs +/- 5 euros!

Pros: It might be cool but I just can't use it cause Macbook pro 2011 has a different output and, consequently, I need a different adapter.
Cons: I can't use it cause my Macbook Pro 2011 has a thunderbolt output. The shipping was very slow. It took about a month to ship it to Ukraine and when I finally got it it didn't work. I was disapponted.
Other: The item might be good, it looks good and should work fine. I just have a different output on my laptop. This should be the warning for all Macbook pro 2011 users to no buy this adapter. The shipping was slow too.
