Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Its cheap. Its easy to install and begin using.
Cons: Build quality is pretty meh. The 3 'mouse' buttons are one part and make a very audible 'click' noise when you press one. The touch screen service feels very rough and isn't enjoyable to move the stylus over. Throughout the entire few days I tried to make this product work, it simply performed terribly. The cursor would seem to stutter whenever traveling and half the time it didn't even pick up my movements.
Other: Eh. Even if it doesn't work well, you're only out 6 bucks. Might as well pick one up to mess around with.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: low price and it perform very similar tasks as the expensive models
Cons: 3 bottoms is not too useful and a bit fragile.
Other: well pack and suggest to buy if you simply want to write in chinese.

Pros: Recognizes most characters you write with it on the first try. Great price, easy to install, and compact.
Cons: Every so often may take a few tries to recognize what you're trying to write.
Other: While it has no pressure sensitivity it would work fine for writing notes and maybe small line sketches. If you're looking for something to be used for professional drawing, look elsewhere. Overall a good toy to have if you're just playing around.

Pros: -A handwriting tablet for cheap -Easy to setup -Can function as a mouse -Has 3 Button mouse functions built in
Cons: When using this, it may just have been my PC but i found when i would click the mouse button on the tablet it would cause the cursor to become laggy so it made it had to do any decent drawing with. other than that i found the stylus to be kind of rough on the tip so i just used my Nintendo DS stylus which worked better and the buttons feel kind of cheep and awkward to press but they work so thats all that really matters
Other: overall this is fun product to play with and for the price is something i don't regret buying even if i don't really use it anymore, but you never know when it'd come in handy to have it around.

Pros: The tablet is fun just to play around with and can act as the mouse.
Cons: Not for precision work like Photoshop. Also had a hard time installing it (even while using the installation photos). Had to go to the website printed on the installation disk and download an update from there in order to switch over to English.
Other: Other then the installation problems and not being precise, this tablet is easy to use and great for fooling around with.

Pros: - Easy to recognize strokes - loads of functions - great price
Cons: - no manual - box fell apart in the mail, but that isn't a major issue at all
Other: A fantastic gadget. A great steal for that price.

Pros: No pressure sensitivity is a plus for me because I intend for this to be a writing pad and nothing else. It is intended to replace my last one (???II) as it is slowly deteriorating into non-functional because it has a tendency to not sense some strokes while you are writing a complicated word. 2nd nice thing about this is the bigger writing screen (again compare to the dying one), this one measures 7x5.3cm while my old one was 6x4cm. It may not sound like much here, but there is a significant difference when you use it. The software that came with it also projects your word to quite a large size, which works out to be a great for the elderly folks who will be using this. Another thing is the thoughtful design since they put in a built-in pen stand. I don’t seem to have the same problems as one of the previous reviewers as mine writes smoothly.
Cons: Minor issue here, but the 3 buttons were not constructed with care. When I press the leftmost button lightly, I can hear a distinctive click. When I press the middle button, I need more force to get that click, and the button on the right gets pressed when this happens. Now when I press the rightmost button, no click at all. The back of the box shows that the middle button is the mouse/writing pad toggler while the left button acts as left mouse and word selector; right as right mouse and word eraser. So chances of me using the left and right ones are slim anyways, as long as the middle one continues to work I will be happy.
Other: My 3rd writing pad so far (one wireless, two wired), this is something that I would buy one for every family member. One step install (might help if you switch your language of non-Unicode programs to Chinese PRC) requires that you pick a location, then everything is intuitively easy to use from there. Too bad about the buttons, but no big loss for me. Last and final thought is that the software is eerily identical compared to my last one, which in this case makes the transition much more pleasant.

Pros: Helps with writing signatures and keeping track of hand written notes. It's strong quality and works double as a mouse.
Cons: The color of the cable was different than in the picture, and it came with an unusually large stylus.
Other: Great for anyone wanting the ability to handwrite on their computer, and just fun to use overall.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Mouse mode: Really draw anywhere you would usually have to use a mouse (e.g. Photoshop) - Accurate and responsive
Cons: - Chinese installation, lack of English mode on provided software. Instructions on DealExtreme use more modern software which isn't shipped and is only available on manufacturer website, which is down.
- Cheap build quality.
Other: English software needs to be shipped with product. It exists but I cannot obtain it.
Otherwise, once you figure it out, it's very useful and you can't go wrong for the price.

Pros: It works great. I can draw pictures more easily now. When I use a whiteboardmarker, it's totally awesome. It responses quick.
Cons: The software I recieved on CD was not the same as the guide for setting it to English, so I only can use the draw function, not the text. I've tried al options, but nothing worked for me.
Another con is that I recieved my pad in a damaged state. Scratches all over it and it looks like it has been used for years.
Other: This is a nice thing, and for the money you cant go wrong if you want to try something like this.
