Mini Lightsabre LED Keychain (4*AG3)

Pros: Received the product today, was surprised by how bright it was. It didn't work at start, however I removed the batteries & re-installed them & it worked straight away. Build quality is quite good. I was actually really surprised by how bright it was.

Cons: Not much use as a key ring as the size of the device (long) doesn't make it easy to fit in the pocket. No real use for the product apart from a bit of fun in the dark.
The tread where the batteries go is real small & have to be careful when installing batteries not to damage the tread.

Other: Good little gadget for its price, very bright & neat design. Build quality is quite nice.
Would be a good item to re-sell.

Pros: It is fun and neat. The price is reasonable. Ok it is cheep. Who are we kidding anyone it isn't a lightsaber. You take one of these sucker and go to a rave forget those stupid glow sticks. You can reuse this and purchase new batteries here at deal extreme.

Cons: I have yet to find a con but probably batter life but too busy to care. Rave on People. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Other: Get this because it is fun.

Pros: Very nice item.
Bright LED light for use as Lightsabre
Well built button and overall great build quality.
Uses small AG3 x 4 batteries included (a 100pack can be obtained from DealExtreme)

Cons: Lightsabre may seem a bit too long to be used as a key chain.

Other: For $1.83 I think you should order at least 3 as friends will want this as a good gift and the batteries are very cheap and replaceable

Pros: - Nice and bright
- Longer than i expected it. The whole saber is about 15cm and the light part about 10cm
- really cool to show of in a bar or club.
-build quality feels ok (more on that in the cons)

Cons: - keychain part feels weak (a bit like the one on the 'pig led' (sku1138). But i guess it could be made a bit more sollid by swapping it with something more sollid.
-It arrived DOA. The possitive contact at the bottom was making contact with the outer shell witch made a short-circuit. I fixed it in about 30sec with a small screwdriver
- Isn't the 'real deal' You can still see it's just a blue led lighting the whole thing. It's brighter at the tip and the base. But from a distance it's ok.

Other: Great gadget this worth way more than 2$. You could sell this thing on the street for about 5$ i think.

Pros: - Bright blue colour using only one LED
- Battery included (everything is ready out of the bag)
- Look pretty good build quality

Cons: - A bit too large to be a keychain (some what hard to put in pocket)
- No ON/OFF switch, it uses the press and hold method

Other: - Great product, it is a bit big, but I believe you will find something to key it on.

Pros: Its a lighsabre keychain, what else do I need to say? When I ordered this I was skeptical as to how this would perform given its price. It performs VERY well. Given that it is powered only by a single LED, this is surprisingly bright. Its no substitute for a flashlight, but it puts off enough ambient light to make stuff out in the dark. It's like an extra bright glowstick. The build construction feels pretty solid to me. The button is the only thing I could foresee having problems, but its good so far.

Cons: The size. As a keychain, its just too big. Its about 4.75 inches long, and although its pretty solid, I wouldn't trust it with my keys crammed into my pocket. Also, be aware that the light has a blue tint to it, but the acrylic casing is colored green on the inside, so the light looks mostly green except at the top and bottom it looks blue.

Other: I wish there was an on/off switch, there is only a button that turns the light on as you hold it down. Also some other color choices would be nice, blue, red, violet etc. But anyways, I'm very happy with it and will probably buy a few more with my next order.

Pros: - It has a really bright sweet Green/Blue light
- It comes with batteries
- Its small and handy
- Gives a nice looking effect

Cons: - It was broken in 2 pieces when i got it
- Will not light up everytime you press the button

Other: Well this is a very nice looking keychain with very bright light. If you like the pictures of this product you will love it in real life.
Btw. The plastic was broken when i got it, but i glued it togetter and hope it will last for a while though.

Pros: - it is really bright and has a nice blue colour
- it´s big (but this decreases the usefulness)
- the build quality is good
- batteries are included and it´s ready to use from the start

Cons: - in my opinion it is to big to be used as a keychain and i think it would brake
- so it isn´t really useful and it also can´t replace a keychain-flashlight

Other: If are looking for a keychain this lightsword isn´t a good solution. But if you are a Star wars fan then you ave to buy it :-).

Pros: Good quality - feels well built.
Good price - worth the money.
Great fun if you get two - just get some!

Cons: It could do with a switch/ push button and not just a push button as your fingers/thumb can start to ache after a while. Quite a soft button though so doesnt ache too fast. If you position the button just right so its covered by your natural grip then isnt uncomfortable.
As others have said, too big for a pocket, but any smaller and would have been pointless, so keychain not really used unless you hook it to a rucksac or similar.

Other: You're never going to use them to land aircraft in your back garden, so basically you'll use them for a mock lightsabre battle - be honest. Some might use it for signalling on a hike but unlikely. Just give way to your innner child and get one for a friend and get the light sabre battle out of your system. You know you're going to!

Pros: For what it is this is great value for only a couple of bucks. Surprisingly good build quality. Surprisingly bright.

Cons: It's a bit difficult to install the batteries - fiddly. That's the worst I can think of - nothing to put you off buying it.

Other: Useful as a dim light - I use it when checking on the kids in bed, or fun as a toy. My 8-year-old Star-Wars fan loves it.
