    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Each of these adapters connects a mini USB plug to either a micro USB or iPod plug. There are 2 mini USB jacks -- arrows tell you whether the jack feeds the micro USB or the iPod plug. Seems well built; nothing is loose or shaky.

    Cons: iPod plug may be difficult to plug into a device if there is a bulky case (such as Otterbox). However, if you're careful you can file down some of the corners.

    Other: If you're a plug-and-cable junkie, this can be a valuable part of your toolkit.
