What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: Comes in a shielded bag and three antennas.
Use your Mini PCI-E wireless car on your desktop.
Works fine with Atheros AR5BX63 taken from old netbook.
Cons: Does not come with screws.
You need a small bolt and nut to secure the card to the adapter.
Or you could use a piece of string like I did.
Other: Works as expected.
Just should come with some screws to secure the card to the adapter.

Pros: Great product, if you need it. I had an old WIFI card lying around, so converted my desktop to WiFi using this cards. Works perfect. The card was instantly recognized and the drivers etc got installed.
Cons: No screws, so maybe they can add screw holes, or maybe supply, some way to hold the card down. I used tape...so meh
Other: Great product if you need it. Works brilliantly.

Pros: It just works. Assuming the drivers exist for your Mini-PCIe device, your computer will see it as exactly that and it will work as it should. This is great because I like Intel laptop Wi-Fi adapters better than desktop ones.
Cons: Like many others have pointed out - there are no screws that come with this, so you'll have to find other ways to get the card to stay in place. I used some electrical tape.
Another problem I have with this unit is that the metal bracket that goes in the back of the PC is slightly crooked - if you try to insert it all the way into your PCI Express slot, the metal will be at an angle and will take some bending to fix - at least mine did.
Other: It works great and does what it should, and the price is unbeatable. Just be warned that it's not the greatest build quality so if you're picky about that sort of thing, you might want to spend your money elsewhere.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Works as advertised. Accepts both miniCards and half miniCards.
Cons: 1. No screws/nuts supplied. You'll have to find your own. 2. This card should ONLY be installed into a PCI slot, not PCIe. 3. The metal bracket needs to be bent a little to make it fit into the PC chassis. 4. Intel 5300AGN half miniCard didn't work for me. Win7 would detect it, but after installing the driver, the Intel software reports that there's no card installed. Luckily, an Intel 4965AGN card DID WORK.
Other: If you have some spare WLAN miniCards lying around, and you need to add wireless capability to your desktop PC, go for it.
