Mini Rectangle Shape USB 2.0 Hi-Speed 4-Port Hub (Black + White)

Pros: Is a completely plug and play device under windows and linux, recogniced by the sistem like an standar USB hub, no current problems, ports are spread enough to connect a big usb device in each port at a time, the frontal port is specially usefull for devices too big or to heavy to keep pluged in the upper ports.

Cons: Cover may be a bit loose cause the two pieces are not glued, a heavy device in the frontal port can make them open, anyway its easy to glue them just by disasembling with care and aplying a bit of plastic glue in the insertion pins of the covers.

Other: Small enough to carry it with your laptop or netbook, the legth of the cable makes it easier to use eneven in small desktops.

Pros: I've had mine for around two years now so I can tell you right off the bat that this is a reliable USB hub. The design is useful in my opinion - I use it to extend the USB port capacity of my MacBook (which this goes with just nicely) which can be easily done using the USB port on the end of the hub without it looking like a mess - it truely just adds three on the USB signal path (there's actually four ports on this, but I was just giving you an idea of how I like to use it)

Cons: I don't know if this is truly a con, but the cord isn't white on the one I got. It doesn't bother me, though - I find it better that the product is full black. Just thought to tell you so that you'll know: what you see might not be what you get. There could be a little more space in between the USB ports on the top - I have two USB sticks plugged in and I can't fit a third one because of the lack of space on it. I think the design would allow a bit more space in between the ports.

Other: Does exactly what it should do, it's non-powered so you can't expect it to draw power for all your USB-charged devices, but for simple things such as keyboards, mice and sticks it works great. There can be some inconsistencies with the colors advertised.

Pros: This is one of the cheapest usb hub on Dx but don't be fool by the price it is well build and work at the full usb 2.0 speed.

Cons: The only negative point would be the lengh of the usb cord but for me it was perfect for carying it around (laptop)

Other: I will defenitely by this again and no fear recomending it to others. For it's price and build quality I am sure it isd one of the best usb hub available on this web site. Buy with confidence you won't regret it
